Thanks guys. Yes looking forward to it very much.

Frantic week at work has finally closed. Shattered. Now looking forward to a roast dinner and may make a banoffee pie for no particular reason other than I fancy one..:rotfl:

In other news..cooker has finally given up ghost. New one coming next Tuesday :j and £40 discount as it's an ex-display. Also decluttered 40 items to CS so will update my signature.. :) Monies landed in the household pot today so immediately siphoned off to NW savings account i.e. the tax fund and also to final M£NA card. I so so want that gone....

Hope everyone having a good day x

  • Hey brizzle

Just to update you, I've been knocked back for my ppi (ccp) claim. The bank reckon because i can't remember in detail, the absolute principles of the sick pay cover for my job 17+ years ago, and because I can't remember whether I had personal savings of buttons or £000's, I was, apparently, a *good fit* for insurance..............................

    80llc0cks

There is a glaring detail on the form - that I made them aware of in my claim, that highlights that i didn't select ppi cover...................

Banks are allowed to dispose of your records after 6 years (I think), but the minute you don't have employment and financial records going back almost 3x that, you're *wrong*........

17+ years ago I was employed in the public sector. I don't know, but I rather suspect that sick pay was faaarrrrrrr more generous then than it is now.......... I could be wrong....... And as for the savings, yes, it probably was buttons, but did I ever buy anything on my cc that took me up to my limit......... er nope........

Anyhoo, jus fort I'd let y'all know :D

Banoffee pie consumption has just increased up and down the country! Merest mention of it has several of us scrambling for the ingredients!

Re the ppi payment - I know it’s not the done MSE thing but my friend has received back over £10,000 through using one of the claim companies. Obviously they took a cut but did all the hard battling for her and came up trumps....
