hello Teatime:wave:
Lovely to have you along to hear the musings, tales of tediumand the occasional outright panic in the Brizzle household.
Do you have a diary? if not do start one.. I have found its the best way to try and stay on the straight and narrow. ( and it's a record of all the progress:T)
Have a great evening

We tried to make newspapers into paper logs for a bit earlier this year when my LBM came and stuck around...but it was very time consuming for an hour of fuel time. But worth thinking about - I 'borrowed' the mould from my parents garage!
I tried making logs out of paper for a while but they took ages to dry up here in the Pennines. I gave my log maker away on freegle to someone living in more suitable area for drying them out outside.
The idea for books came from a friend who works for a charity. She said it was heartbreaking to watch all the books which had been donated and weren't selling going in a skip. She asked if she could take them home and the bosses agreed. She now has a log basket full of large print romances etc.:rotfl:She says some days friends come in and seeing a book they fancy can just take it away.
I am making a half pot of tea with one tea bag so it is used more frugally. Mr Pooh may think I am a bit odd but who caresbusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hello Mrs B,
Just been catching up with your musings ! How are you ? Great to see Mr B is busily photographing and ebaying, at least he is doing his bit to help in his own special way !
Sorry to hear he may be going away. Its horrible isnt it ? Mr Pinot used to be away for at least 9 months out of 12 , it was horrible for everyone. Its much less now, but he seems to pop in and out now, which can also be tough as just as I get used to him being around, he goes again ! I am sure we can all keep each other company, if we dont all keep on going AWOL that is !
Oh and loving the tea bag idea !! I do make the girls share one teabag between them, but I'm not sure Mr Pinot will ever forgive me if I do that to him. I dont drink tea, more of a Asda Gold special Girl myself ! xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hello folks
Great to see you back posting Mrs PG...you have been missed. Yes its a bu£ger when he is away. If its truly 6 months of the year I may just give up now!! Just back myself from work so not caught up yet.
Was gobsmacked to get home and see that whilst OH had not been to the allotment ( I restrained myself!) he had been to LID! and was very impressed by his swag bag for £16. He also spent 3 hours filing ( well does that count as decluttering ladies and gents??!!! I believe it's a valiant effort anyway;)) and gave a platelet donation....oh as well as feeding kids Use Ups and taking DD2 to ballet.....so not bad, although none of the filing or shopping was on The List!!! I hereby forgive him. It's almost like having a PA:rotfl: ( and the cleaner did her usual lovely magic tis afternoon so I feel doubly blessed!)
Today has been a kick bolli* scramble at work. Will be pleased now to have a long weekend.
Not much on money front. Did spend £4 on coffees on train, I went on 3 trains today and had 2 lifts...life is busy so I have forgiven myself. OH checked account and wondered where all the money had gone.... All scraped to mortgage and to pay down debt so all to a good cause!no point in having it in the CA I said! ( At least he had looked I guess!)
That's it. A spendy day tomorrow as DD1s birthday on Friday and we have only 1 pressie so will be buying a few treats and useful:rotfl: items!!!
Catch up soon

Poohbear..that's great. Anything but a skip, adding to landfill is no place for books!
I do like the tea idea..I had a few more ideas...half a dishwasher tablet, half the amount of washing powder...the list of possibilities is endless. I already water down fruit juice. Although never wine!!!:rotfl: Or coffee!!:DMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Brizzle - your life does sound very hectic!
It's funny you saying you are enjoying it. I know exactly what you mean. I'm glad I found this forum where you all make the debt busting into a fun, challenging game rather than a lonely battle.GC June £78.50 / £250, May £262 / £250.
Debt (excluding mortgage) April 2012 - £29388, May 2012 - £25588.

I water down the fruit juice, always have done, but then when the childrens dentist recommended it and I told her that I was already doing so, she actually accused me of lying and trying to make myself look like some kind of Super Mum ! I couldnt believe the nerve of the woman ! Never did like her much, needless to say we see a different dentist now !!
Loving your Analogy of the debtbusting Teatime, I always did love a good game !!
Are you sure half a dishwasher tablet works Lucielle, shame my dishwasher still isnt fixed or I would have given that one a try ! xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
