My lord.....what a conversation I missed as I was glued to series 2 of the Killing last night..(borrowed, obviously;)) the bit that really made me smile was you Happy with no dishwasher and yet some tablets!!! That is truly fab!!!

I also would recommend the Fairy ones..they are good...(slinks off with an embarassed look as I fear it is not cool or making me seem an interesting person if I can opine on a favoured brand of dishwasher tablets..) I hasten to say though that we are now buying powder as loose is cheaper than tablets..

Hi everyone and Happy Star Wars Day..May the MSE Force be with you!!

Hope everyone is good and looking forward to a long weekend (and commiserations to those working whilst the rest of us sleep! New Leaf???? I am sure the Americans wouldnt recognise something as radical as May Day!!;):p))

Today heres the list... I will:

    - check banking and PADs
    - check mortgage levels so I can update sig (always gives me a boost and am hoping its below £180k net) Update - have got under £180k!! and updated signature..its a good feeling:j)
    - update on the POAMAYC challenge as a small amount received from A2azon sales Done!:j
    - reuse used wrapping paper for rest of DD1s presents! At this rate she will also get snowmen and holly on them but who cares!
-spendy day as going out for birthday tea but agreed with the restaurant will take a cake so no dessert needed (we will spend enough on everything else but every little helps)

Cribbing your great ideas Happy I have a Financial Failure to report...no NSDs yet this month.... I am truly carp. Several LSDs but its just not the same! I am hoping for Sunday..but not if I go to the Garden Centre:o It will be veggie plants and seeds but even so..

Think thats it... will pop into diaries later but now have a cake to ice...Malteser cake....nice:j

    Yes..still to do...called mortgage company first instead...am I a bad mother??!!![

Hmmm I did say I would show him didnt I ?!! I do read him some things, but there are others they may stay well and truly hidden away forever !!

I am really worried though what I have agree to with these blasted tablets, what questions will they ask me ? I cant use them without a dishwasher. Maybe I will have to fill the bath with dirty washing up and pop in the dishwasher tablets , try and dissolve them then report back the results, or just make it up !!!

Totally agree on the re use of wrapping paper, I did the same for my girls and Mr Pinots were wrapped in pretty girly paper and reindeer paper. He didnt seem to care though !

Hope DD1 has a lovely birthday, is it Monday did you say ?

Dotn beat yourself on your Financial Failures. At least you have had LSD instead ! x

  • Mrs happy we can always count on you to come to our rescue! I have signed up, slightly concerned as I currently have no dishwasher but thought I could perhaps trial them in the washing machine instead, but am wondering what questions they may ask me and how committed I need to be having never trialed anything in my life !! DFW please join me as a fellow dead dishwasher owner ! :rotfl:

:rotfl: i'm already there! signed up as soon as i got the email........purely because it was free  slightly shocking really as ten mins later i sat there thinking what on earth will i use them for and the other 5 boxes in the cupboard ?? answers on a postcard....

Oh and i already tried one in the washing machine  needless to say i won't be doing that again in a hurry  bubbles everywhere!

I'll copy you across my research, you can crib from that. Perhaps you can swap the tablets with a friend who has something you want
