    Hi there

Never tried WUL in the dishwasher but I do remember using it as shampoo more than once!

    All pretty good here.

    Monetary magical marvels..

    - good trip to allotment. Salad and peas are struggling and seedlings are small but more potatoes in and strawberries are everywhere. Lots of blossom on apples as well. Need to go back more often but when it's raining it's too depressing for words!
    - small spend yesterday but it was for selling EBay Items but legit I guess..
    - if everyone pays up then £50 made on the items OH surprisingly listed last week so that's good
    - looking at my sig seem to have £10k less mortgage since January which seems a good figure. I know it's from selling lots and from bonuses etc rather than totally from a new way of living....but I guess it's true to say its a combination:D
    - using loose tea from back of cupboard rather than buy new tea bags. It's more effort but that's all part of the MSE game! :rotfl:And the tea was from my dad so free!

    Financial F*ck Ups

    - no NSDs yet:( but only £2.72 yesterday so some LSDs but even so it's the little things that cause the cash chaos in my household so I do need to get those NSDs underway
    - BM is playing up. Bread not rising etc so fear we may need a new one. cakes also less good without a mixer. Used the magimix Processor but that's less good for folding and keeping the mixture light:rotfl:

Think that's it for the confessional today....do need to go out later to the garden centre so more will be coming up...but as its for the allotment I don't feel too bad.

    Laters folks

10K off your mortgage since January!! That's about 2K per month. Wowza I am impressed!

    Hi folks

Sorry have not been popping in. Am away for work and have just got on the freebie hotel wifi...but shattered after a 20.5 hour day so far so will be turning in soon:(

Well the financial f ups continue...with a mad panic as no smart suit for work so bought one online. Ok half price in sale but as H&bbs as I know it's quality and will fit, .it's a 'fair' old price too:eek:

But..OH has worked wonders at the allotment, we sold £50 of EBay stuff, I am keeping the grocery bill under control, we are pricing letting van to neighbours, so some rays of sunshine.

    Hi all

Back for the weekend woo hoo!!

Fairly frugal time (apart from 'that' suit, allotment stuff and a trip to the garden centre!).... but hanging on in there. No NSDs yet..unfortunately. Maybe Sunday..

Have made some PADs and finally done my work expenses...they were huge..so when they are received will make a huge difference to my OD!

Welcome back!! Still sounds under control, no worries there.

Unfortunately, if a suit is 'work uniform' you have to have one. Hobbs suits are timeless and well made, you will get plenty of wear out it. I recently sold quite a few Hobbs suits on ebay and made some money out of them. They sell well and easily.

    Hopefully, catch up later

Thanks Piq..a girl after my own heart you are! These days I try to only buy in the sale so about 50% off their stuff. Maybe not always my first choice of suit but as you say they are timeless and stand up to lots of wear.

Lovely sunny day here. £5.05 from the panels yesterday..BLOOMING AMAZING!!!!!!! Had DD1's birthday party so pooped. Back laters

    So..here's the list...

    This weekend we will:

    - go down to the allotment and finish planting out potatoes, weeding etc, take a picnic/maybe a BBQ.
    - OH will go to the gym - we signed up for this month and it'll have been the first time he has been (I can't go for a bit so will have to wait for that joy! But after enforced rest am keen to get going again!! Miss it and could do with losing a bit..feel sluggish) HE'S THERE NOW
    - try and have a NSD on Sunday
    - meal plan for next fortnight
    - update spreaddies
    - check banking and make some PADs
    - update signature on here re CCs and overpayments DONE
    - ignore the thought of a Chinese this eve..I am desperate but will try and resist! Maybe do a stir fry instead from the stuff in the fridge!
    - hope for another good day on the panels..yesterday was a record £5.05!!
    - look in loft for more to sell or declutter on Bay of E

Think that's it folks - have a great weekend

brizzled, Thank you for the reminder that we have an allotment!! We haven't been anywhere near it in weeks. I have onions and potatoes to plant and I have also been given my plants for the leek competion.

I need to get back to budgeting properly for groceries. It has been running away from us recently. I had to buy food on the credit card :eek:when everyone landed for Easter and I haven't got my head round the grocery budget since.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
