    Hi all

OH off away again. Never ending this single parent lark. Ugh.

Today I have meal planned for the week and also got some special ready meals, just to make it easier as it's a crazy week or two. Everyone out and about and no OH to help carry the load. Unfortunately it's made me go over on groceries, so need to keep everything to a minimum from now on.

Waiting on getting paid an invoice. It's not overdue, but just want it so I can shuffle the money onto the CC..so want that CC gone so I can start on bringing down the next one!!

No sales on the Bay..so those items are going to the CS today..at least then it counts towards my decluttering target.. Now have sorted out a load more clothes so need to get those listed by end of weekend would like to hit that sales target if I possibly can. It's a stretch but nothing ventured, nothing gained

Update: London was fab, and used lots of vouchers and money off. P7zza Express 20% off; unexpected 20% off the Chinese for lunch as they had just opened and mucked up on one dish (put it right immediately though so that was unexpectedly very kind). TCB came up with Madam Tussauds tickets but boy am never going to stand in that queue again!! Everything else was free to visit :)

Have also just listed some EBay items. Pulled one item back into the wardrobe as its a black dress which I figure will always be useful for work, or something. Fingers and toes crossed that this lot sell, even if money doesn't come through this month. Had a moment when I thought about breaking my self imposed no new clothes ban when I saw some H7bbs on the Bay..but so far, have been resolute and not even added to a watch list :rotfl:

  • Surely if you're buying off eBay, they're not new clothes, they're second-hand?? ;)
  • Ooooh - London! I love London. Well done on such a bargainous trip. We're closer than you guys but it's still expensive when we go. One of our fave places is Borough Market for the scrummy food but with a couple of hungry kids in tow it soon adds up.

I got tickets for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition for my birthday so we did that in January. Really amazing photos. I think last years exhibition was in Bristol when we were there but we didn't go in. At your M Shed maybe but I can't quite remember?

Ha Caz!! I adopted a rule of no new to me clothes - whether charity shop, EBay or anything. I did break it today with 2 vest tops from M&S (£5) and of course the jacket in november but other than that nothing since the Spring. It's good to stick to it, no real exceptions - I have plenty of stuff really.

London is indeed fab. We had a great time :D Entertainment budget is shot now, but think it was worth it. The exhibition is usually great. However my OH is in the business you could say so it'd be a busmans holiday for him so have never really gone. Glad you loved it though :)

Sounds like you had a fab time. I love going to London but unfortunately it doesn't happen very often. Work has its HQ there so possibilities to visit are there. I'm going to have a CS sort out today, we got a bag through the door the other day so will fill it.

    And breathe...

Tired already and its only Monday evening..

Today we had leftovers. Curry, wraps, raita and rice. Quite tasty actually. I am on operation use up now... must minimise the grocery spend and anyway we are drowning in food..

So will re-check the meal plan to see that we are 1) using up freezer meals etc and taking advantage of the batch cooking and 2) able to do some speedy meals as we are all about and about and coming in at different times and late.

DD1 decluttered 3 items to the CS..every little helps. Will update my sig. Another AFD too..3 in a row :D

Its been a LSD :) £3.60 on bus fares only.

Idly thought about doing the 5:2 again..may do that on Wednesday.

I decluttered loads of stuff Brizzle - all collected this morning. You're doing so much better than me with AFDs.
