You sound as if you are on the mend Brizzled. Decluttering is the best feeling isn't it?If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Need to get a move on and start my work...don't particularly want to do it today..but house is quiet, OH is at work and kids are still in bed, so an ideal time.

So far..
- sorted new NW account for EF
- paid work done, just impatiently waiting for money to land in my account so I can pay off CC and fill in the spreaddie:rotfl:
- put 4 items for bin, 6 pairs shoes and 15 pieces of clothing for CS and same for EBay. Just need to take photos and list. So 40 items close to being out of the door.
- 2 eggs from chickens, well done girls
- LOs for tea, so simples
Now just a HM Valentines present to rustle up..OH came home to WFH, so haven't been able to sort it. Just a booklet of promises...to be nice etc (which apparently I currently find hard to do!!)

Nice day today, but OH now working so no romantic evening happening here !
In MSE stuff..
- lunch out with OH at a lovely cafe after doing domestic chores..cleaning our van :rotfl: What a way to spend Valentines!! A real find of a restaurant though, in the country. It was lovely. Spent £27 so much much cheaper than dinner.
- HM presents for Valentines duly appreciated
- about to do a PC survey so that's another £3
- more wood for the stove arriving this week.. cheapest way to heat the house
- TCB and discount sites used to book attraction in London for me and the kids later this week. Also going to use railcard to get up there, which makes a huge differnce. We will take drinks and snacks and yes, very warm gear.
- pulled beef wraps for tea, everyone loved it and more left overs for later in the week, lunches etc
- clothes decluttered to the CS, but no Ebay photos done yet..job for the weekend perhaps?
Hope everyone is having a good week

I can't keep up with washing in our house! It's never ending.
Pulled beef sounds lovely. What do you put in yours? I've made it a couple of times and it's always seemed a bit wishy washy, not much depth of flavour. It's missing something but I don't know what."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". With two LOs I am not surprised...we had reusables too so it was non stop.
Pulled beef..we use the recipe from the Slow Cook book (£5 from the NT bookshop at Tyntesfield) - it works for us, I just put less liquid in (as per a piece of advice from Tilly a while ago). Thinking about it I also chucked in some BBQ sauce from an AF order a while ago. DD1 can't get enough of it.
As she's such a fan, when I saw that there was a discount code yesterday on MSE I used it. Couldnt get the same brand but picked up some which looks similarMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
