Thanks all
- much appreciated
Quiet day today after a lovely but spendy day yesterday. Got free tickets to an event and then went out to dinner, which was OK but nothing special. Company was great, just food was mediocre. Pity really as we are trying to make sure we only eat out at excellent places...and to regard it more of a treat than part of a routine. Then we went on the big wheel down by the harbourside...completely spontaneous but fabulous. Nice end to the day.
Currently cooking a nice roast chicken. Have just been reading that for many families Sunday lunch/dinner is now just a sandwich...luckily not the case in my house. With the meal planning I need to roast a chicken today so we can have the left overs in a chicken pie on Tuesday and so I can make stock :rotfl: a sandwich just wouldn't cut it!!!
Work is picking up. To the point where not sure I can fit it all in...but needs must. Not a LSD as went out for groceries..but nothing mad, just odds and ends needed for the week ahead.
Sitting reading paper whilst chicken is on..and woodburner blazing in corner...what's there not to like?!
Hope everyone is having a good day

Glad work is picking up. Love the idea of a blazing fire, a paper and a roast chicken. HeavenIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
