    Whoop! Bloody whoop..

Notice of a fat cheque has arrived in the post just a minute ago. North of £500 going into the account. Deep joy. Sometimes I love the unpredictable upsides of a freelance lifestyle..

And 10 items in hall ready for CS..they are all books though, which hardly counts. Must try harder! But will have a coffee first ;)

Books are good for decluttering too. Just pile 10 books together and look at how much space you have reclaimed by sending them to the cs

Thanks guys, especially Lou  I think I am just not taking the MSE way of life as seriously as I should and I know I can and should do better...anyways up..

Quiet day planned for today. Visiting oldies. Will make a cake, and take them lunch, leaving older child to revise...she's doing 5-6 hours a day which seems pretty good, especially as she's worked hard throughout her school life. Am also going to try and get more fruit and veg into my diet...together with my cycling should make me feel better...as sometimes feel a bit sluggish and am sleeping less well. I am also thinking a lot about money at the moment and what I need to do job wise...which I think is providing some low level stress.

Hope everyone has a good day

Just caught up with the thread.......all sounding great. When hammering down debts, mortgage or otherwise, it's always hard when you have a life to live as well!! Splurges, steps backwards, a bit of real life are just minor hazards that come along to trip us up along the way. It's how they are dealt with is the key to being debt free........ oh and a bit of patience;) and you know this of course:rotfl:

We are in full exam flow here but stressed. DD2 has been solid revising since January. Attended all the extra classes. Had some extra tutoring and still kept up with her extra curricular activities and hobbies. Enjoyed a final day at school and night out in The Town with all the 6th forms in the surrounding areas followed by weekend with friends and then crashed........think she peaked too early........had an exam on last day of school and she wasn't confident and it's been on her mind........and the weather has been glorious for about a week. ....and she is an outdoor person. I think she will be fine but there is no telling her! I have also stressed that she is under no pressure from us. DD1 Had no problems other than she knew exactly what was the minimum requirements and sailed through everything with seemingly little effort  just like her mother:D

Day 6 in the garden here.........getting spoilt now! Just enjoying it today though, lots of long standing jobs completed this week.

Fizzy ginger beer.......yum. We always use to have some on the go maybe I will give it another go.

When you talk about revising, would that be the same thing as studying? I keep seeing that word come up and it seems to be the same context we (US) use when saying 'studying for a test'.
Overprepare, then go with the flow.
