Hi Brizzle.
Sometimes we need a little splurge and as it's work clothes surely its a necessity as you have to look good.
I keep going on the banana repub site, I love their dresses but I'm not allowed one until I've shifted some weight, so that will be my treat.
Take care.x.0 -
Well done on the ginger beer. I love ginger beer but I've never made it. I might now...
I'm going to try and get back to a few more NSDs in June too

Hello Brizzle,
Just popping by to wish DD good luck in exams, sounds like they are going well
Shopping - I have been trying to get DD out with me for a girlie shopping day but when she's up for it I've been too tired and vice versaMaybe in July once work has calmed down a bit
It is much harder in the house when everyone home - we seem to be in a constant state of chaos at the moment!
It's chucking it down relentlessly for the last 20 hours - looks like its going to be a very damp week - and I have my heating on ......:o
Have a good week:)

Hi - thanks for all the lovely messages:)
It has been a dreary day today but we still had fun and it was fairly frugal after using the railcard for tickets and some free ones to the attraction in London. We cycled there and back to the station too.. Go us
Am holding firm on the heating but the woodburner has gone on, that's for sure. Thanks for the good wishes NOA.. She's been in school today for more revision classes, the teachers are certainly putting the effort in!
Ginger beer is v fizzy and I should have used fresh ginger rather than powdered I have decided but it's great and so so cheap. Will be making it again and just experiment with recipes and trying to make a ginger beer starter plant.
Hope everyone has a great week

Must be something in the water for the spending brizzle I seem to have been similarly afflicted and as someone who is rarely out and yet the gods have decided to inflict on me the most sociable and potential spendy June I could imagine with a family birthday, surprise farewell party, 2 concerts, hen night and charity evening - I have also turned down 3 other nights out as if even my wallet could handle it my liver sure as heck couldn't - not sure how well ill fare in our eating out / takeaway challenge - I think I may have to give up the eating out up as a lost cause and focus on zero takeaways :eek:CC debt Aug 2018 £50.2K

Debs..so good to know that someone else is in the same situation!!.. Eating out loads..another meal this eve...but then it all calms down. TAs not a problem..but restaurants have been..it's like we have been really restrained for a few months..and now it's all breaking out..
Am going to try and be good with just 1 TA and no more eating out after this eve...well can try anyway.. What's your challenge?
Weather looks pants...think I will be huddling inside in front of the TV today with a troupe of kids

Um..can't get my act together. It's just not happening today!,
Have joined Bzz..if I get selected for surveys might be fun. Since I last posted I gave cruised around our YNAB..think my issue is that I can trying to still be MF in 5 yrs with a decreased income...it's all too hard, I then bust the budget and that hurts.
I need to do a v small grocery shop today. Have got pork in freezer for the weekend BBQ which is a saving.. I will keep everything minimal otherwise.
I will also declutter a modest 10 items ...back when I've done it!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
