Many thanks Captain - rather humbling to think of being a source of inspiration. (The collective folks on here are the true inspiration!) Thank you
No more bids but some more watchers. Some stuff not shifting tho - may need to drop price or else give to CS. Dinner of LOs this eve and my second NSD day! Yay!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Ugh. Exhausting and testing day at work.
Anyway, will be home soon. Dinner already made - using LO rice OH has made a spinach and rice cake (Italian style) which we will have with salads. The sun this morning made me obviously think it's already summer!! ( now realising it's definitely not and its chilly!) I have also done some TTs, given 7 items to the CS (will update sig) and only spend was the dentist. Am cutting down in the non-essentials nicely :T
Am musing on working out number of months until we are MF - it's around 10 years (although planning to pay off in 6) and show on a chart as bricks so that each month we make a contractual payment we cross it through and literally chart our progress. I don't plan to do OPs yet as know we may go back into pot for unexpected expenses or even tax etc. It could be too easy to get to. I will put the chart somewhere visible. I did the brick chart before, it was a really nice visual to see it going down, albeit slowly. Much better with overpayments!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Yes think it will be a nice thing to chart. Haven't got round to it yet mind!
At least 2 good MSE things to be grateful for, today:
- OH purchasing tins of chickpeas at 25p per tin:T (even less than the 33p at Mr L.. gawd bless our local ethnic supermarkets..my bestest favourite is frozen cubes of garlic!) Think we will be eating a lot of chana saag and huumus in the next month!
- more watchers on Bay of E items but need to drop starting prices on a couple and relist.
NSD so far today..although meeting up briefly with a friend and if we go out that'll change by £10 or so. No sign of the tax cheque hitting my account..but hopefully tomorrow.
