Hi brizzle - you and me both on the work uncertainty front
Inspired by one of your earlier posts I bought some lemongrass and ginger cordial - it's gorgeous! Almost as nice as a glass of wine!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Hmm. Weird times hey.
It is lush. The pomegranate one is nice too...if you fancy a changeMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Slow day today. Did some work but more to be done. Meant to be going out with OH, already paid for but lacking in oomph. Don't really want to go!
Anyhow.. HM card for OHJust shows you that important to complain about poor service, in this case chocs for Valentine's Day that arrived with crushed box. Refund of £12 coming my way and OH will eat them just the same. Not first time that has happened though so company need to sort that out.
Doing a PC test - first time have been sent a product to try. Pretty useful and will enjoy completing the survey back.
Doing some business development tomorrow. Will be good for me. And weather permitting some gardening. It's a wreck.
Hope everyone is well

Nightmare. Just looked at tickets PLMBL and realise it has started already. Ugh. Reminder to self: never trust the online diary entry. Anyway will now try and tempt OH out for a bevy so that at least all not lost.

And on another note (writing as OH gets less grumpy (hopefully!!) and kids finish homework).. The (intimidating) brick wall of the remaining 108 mortgage instalments due if we don't make any overpayments is now sketched out, printed out & stuck to inside of a kitchen cupboard door. Family members will take it in turn to cross off a brick...it's a long old haul, but certainly worth making it 60 instalments instead by being MF in 5 (years;))! (That key brick is coloured differently
) DD1 taking a keen interest in the timing of this all and whether we will have scope to help her with uni
(no bad thing!)

Musing loads and wondering if we should stack out the S&S ISA with OP funds to try and reach our goal quicker. Obviously the market can go down (as evidenced now, but over 5 years??) One to think about. Am sure OH would prefer to just OP every month. Conservative and no risk.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

The squashed chocolates reminded me of many years ago when I used to work in a shop, someone brought a packet of biscuits back because some were broken. The manager said "do you swallow them whole". Still makes me smile today
The crossing bricks off idea is brilliant by the way. Hope Mr Brizzle is less grumpy by now - tell him he can't be grumpy on Valentine's Day!
