So...how are you folks? Good I hope.
So far I have:
- had the most amazing weekend away with some girlfriends..it was lush and so so relaxing. I felt very chilled yesterday particularly.
- started the toffee vodka and topped up the slow gins...there must be over 6l of gin in our back room, hey party at our house
- got up at 5am (to give myself an hour before I usually get up) to make chicken pie with the leftovers from Sunday dinner and there is still some for sandwiches or risottoMust be mad, but it has just tasted good and make this evening much more relaxing
- chooks, well one of them is still laying. Still having to segregate one though as she is being bullied by another as she is having a hard moult
- updated my signature which is all heading in the right direction. OH splurged some money on new speakers..and without permission:shocked: but all will come out in the wash

Glad the Toffee Vodka is coming along well. Just let me know when the party is

Howdy
Not quite sure where the last few days have gone...feeling very overworked and traffic has been nuts. 3 hours commuting a day (should be nearer a max of 2) and thats leaving early too is making me v v tired.
Had nice weekend away tho in very blustery weather in the van. DD1 doing lots of revision but found time to play board games and go for a pub dinner
Money wise..think lodger will try and move out soon. Which is fine. Tbh all fine but I have so moved on. Waiting to see what tax bill will be, but hoping if we are judicious we won't entirely miss the additional income. It has been going into an ISA immediately anyway.
OH treated me to a concert last night. Really nice to go out even if hard work having to beat the traffic first. We cycled there and back in rain (but quicker than walking!) and only had one pint there which is pretty restrained for the Brizzle household :rotfl:
Wind blowing pretty hard this eve. Am wondering if the bridge will be closed tomorrow?MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

The old one is closed tonight and it's blowing a right old gale here on the coast.
Which concert did you go to?0 -
Nitin Sawhney..he (and his 8 piece band) were truly amazing. Trinity - do you know it? The church near the Old Market.
yes saw that..think we may be in for an unsettled night.
Meanwhile will try and rouse myself to find some bank statements the accountant wants...and maybe watch some TV. What a rock and roll life!
Hope you stay safe dangers and sleep wellMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Blinking windy here - the hounds are quite unsettled and seem to know it's rough old night.
