I'd be with your OH on air BNB, but then I wouldn't be keen on a lodger either, I'm too antisocial

Dilemma with the lodger v a%rbnb - I never managed to convince the OH to go with either but I know it works well for you!
Whats the PC surveys? I've never looked into the surveys, but at £6 a go if they don't take forever this could be a nice way for me to find some OPs - any advice gratefully received!

Thanks for popping by. After several conversations thought we might take a break from having a lodger but latest is that money ie. Regular income seems to be winning. After all as OH says how will we be MF in 2021 if we don't rent the room.

PC is the only one I do. It's £3 per completed survey.
I was sent an invite by someone on these forums actually, but I don't know how you apply or if I can invite you Hazel. It's popular so maybe someone on here knows? I've always found them interesting and dont take too long.
You don't get too many and I have just been booted out of one, but every little helps.

So...good things today..first day back at work so the alarm going at 5:30am was a bit of a shock..:o
- Have submitted accounts and stuff to the accountant...hoping for minimal questions, errors and guffaws (well a girl can dream!)..weight off my mind
- Submitted last month's invoices to the various clients (one late payer still from September..grr..and its always the same one)
- gave notice to the lodger. We have agreed to take a break. We are finding everything hard at the moment and I think some space may help. We can always go back to it. So far she's taken it well so fingers crossed it remains civilised. I think she was probably onto a good thing financially speaking and so not sure how easy she will find an equivalent.
- meal planned for the week. DD1 still doing great meals. We are truly blessed..

Long tiring day today but one of my best clients approved an invoice within 12 hours of receipt - love it!
The PC surveys coming thick and fast. Just did another one..interesting too.
Thats it I think..now off to read a magazine article about money mindsets:) After which bath and sort out some more things for the accountant..if I can find 'em

Sounds like things are going pretty well your end ( I have had a quick skim reading catch up as I am very out of the loop !) You do all sound exhausted though . I think the idea to have a break from the lodger is a good one. I would find it very very hard to have someone else in the house and would struggle to relax. Hopefully you can have some space and time to take stock before you think about taking in another lodger or Air B&b again.
Glad you have started making your stocks of Sloe Gin again, we have been making Toffee Vodka int he PG Household, trouble is I keep having a sneaky taste each time I walk past and give it a shake
