Aw thank you my dear, just what the dr ordered this morning x

Another lover of ginger beer here. My dad used to make beer and wine and one year all the bottles, (of wine I think) decided to explode. Luckily my mum was into making it too and the bottles were in an understairs cupboard but oh what a noise and mess

Hope you have a good day

I have decided to call the ginger beer plant Herman (in honour of a sourdough bread yeast that my dear friends in NZ have shared with friends!)..if you are ever close by I can give a portion of Herman to you to toast your new house Piq (me and Granny will just drink it! no excuse needed ! :D..now am wondering how it will taste with that spiced rhubarb vodka I have lurking in the larder :rotfl:)

TTs done. Gawd that OD is never far away. Hate it. but marching on.... you gotta don't you?

    Hi everyone

Back from some lengthy work days..off again tomorrow..

    - Bank account looking a bit rubbish. The OD is constantly there lurking, so I think I may have to face up to that and build a better buffer
-SC stew wasn't cooked enough..OH's trying but he is a SC novice:rotfl:...in the old days I would have just sent out for a TA but we just rustled up a risotto with lots of spare veg (never had celery in a risotto before ;)) and it was lush! :D
    - TTs done
    - sitting in front of the fire. CH not on ;)

AAGGGHHHH...DDFW you need to kick me up the b"tt you really do...I had a hangover today :o after a great night out with friends and didn't really get up until about 11! I will try and go tomorrow as I really need the exercise, I do.

Today was good(when I started it!):

    - over this FLW we have listed 27 items!! :j bids on a few already which is good
    - went to the cinema today. A family ticket costing £28 actually only cost me 50p as I used my nectar points. First time I have redeemed them and it was so easy. Really good and we will use them for a trip like that again.
    - lodger cooked a lush lasagne for us for dinner..perfect. Really lovely and made us feel really spoilt :D
    - OH has put a pumpkin and bean casserole in the SC for during the week. Looks great and I made yoghurt for the first time (OH used to make it quite a bit) as I am keen to eat it more but don't want to have to pay usual prices. Used milk made up from dried skimmed so will tell you how it works out.

Groceries cut back going well altho OH did buy some beers on Friday and we do need some bits such as fruit juice and squash. I also need some baking ingredients as I want to make some choccie biccies tomorrow :)

Think that's it. Hope everyone has had a great weekend
