    Hi

Scores on doors is a £2.50 spend on a movie hire. Kids helped with holiday unpacking and away with DGP next week so last chance for some family time. So no SFD but still a LSD!
BM on so there will be toast tomorrow. Made a salad nicoise type thing with bits from fridge, HM popcorn and icecream later :). Not a bad day! My larder and freezer have also not looked so bare in years.. This fiscal fast is a very good idea..:) thx Mrs Tilly ! I am finding having space on the shelves liberating ;)

    Plan for today..

Sent DD1 to get a few bits for lunch..£16 later! Lovely that she helps but just shows you how it mounts up!

Salad leaves, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes from the garden for lunch. HM meatballs from the freezer for OH and msyelf for tea. Easy stuff. Dreading going to the allotment..but must be done. Also need to do a HM hair dye. Feeling very shaggy, but then at least it won't be a stripy shaggy me!

Back to work properly tomorrow..so need to get A into G. kids with DGP so some time to myself, plus no childcare costs..quite a result. Will miss em though...although not DD2s sheer wilful obstinacy when she is tired...like today. It's like having a toddler!

Van in for repairs...may try for a few special offer hires before the end of the year...it'll all be worth it if we can be DF by end of the year

May have said this before but in term time my childcare costs will be being halved.. Permanently, which is great. Plus DD1 is not being forced to do piano any more..so a saving of £60 PM during term time...not to be sniffed out and I CBA to wrestle with her over it anymore!!

Enough of my ramblings..a house to sort after my week away!

That is a lot of savings you are making. Well done!!

And thanks for the idea of fridge contents salad. I have a packet of mince needs using up too. As I will be out today I am thinking of leaving a pile of ingredients and see what Mr P can make for dinner.

Hi Brizzled, congrats on sub 11k yay \o/

We saw the balloons from Clifton on Friday evening, my nephew loved them. I'm starting to find my way around Fishponds/Staple Hill at the moment and loving it so far :) Have just put the washing out for the first time in years xx
