Thanks satchmo..that would be good..except if we do it, we are getting DD1 to move in with DD2 so would prefer its a temporary measure for say 3 weeks (they get £25 each per stay as a gesture..we get the rest). If our current childcarer/lodger moves out then we will do this for sure. Reckon it'd be £360 pm around here. At moment however we expect our childcarer to stay, but drop her hours and that will be more money to throw at the dreaded debt.
Now must get kids to bed and then run through budget with OH..wish me luck!
Tilly Tidy done and another GREAT day on the panels..this weather is wonderful on SO many counts:DMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Congratulations Brizzle on getting that date moved forwards!! If you can manange New Years Eve that would be the perfect start to 2014. But March 2014 would be brilliant too! Just think, a few months from now all the money you earn will be your own, no more horrible debt repayments

Hi guys:hello:
Lovely to hear from you all..ooh pity I aint in Bristol tomorrow Mrs PG - I could have waved back;)
All good here but do need to sort the new budget. lots of filling in categories in Moneyw7izz on the phones and it was timeconsuming so we stopped. I will suggest we finish that off this eve..but yesterday the first hideous but brilliant episode of The Fall was watched instead (I was good and had no wine...shock horror..) On the good side though, in fact the very good side, I have gained £741.19 more for the ISAs than I thought I would. Selling when the market is up I guess..so sorry they have gone but thats a nice increase.
OH and I are still spending money..but its been on the cat (£109:o_pale_), groceries and stuff for hiring out the van..so in the unavoidable category really. What has been really good is that we have both checked in with each other and ensured we are both really content to spend the money BEFORE we do..quite a change and I am rather enjoying it.
Panels have been fab and the allotment is settling in nicely. Very busy again at work but I know how lucky I am to have a job and one I really enjoy..so not complaining.
Doing the Tilly Tidies..and nice to get a BC statement which showed a £2700 decrease in a month (thats Tilly Tidies and the £2k OP pot for you!) ..when the ISA money comes through (they have acknowledged our letters) it will be cleared completely:D:T
I am going to post my signature for the MFW-T3 but it'll be carp..but just think if I clear this debt by NYE I can start overpaying properly, whoop whoop!:D
Hope everyone is OK

Have you ever grown figs in the UK.
I have a small patio fig tree and it's 2 years old this year, I'm wondering whether I will actually get fruits this year?
