I think he was too young for senior school  I reckon he was about 10, he could have been older though, I'm rubbish at guessing ages. The boys were out from about 9.15am, when I left the house they were going up and down the road (well not the ACTUAL road, they were on the path lol) with a wheelbarrow, collecting all the snow :D I know one of the boys, hopefully I'll found out soon how his friend is.

Donna - I'm familiar with your situation and I think however well/badly they take it, you are probably going to feel better once it's all out in the open. Hugs :grouphug: and let us know how it goes.

    Hi everyone.
Missed the thread yesterday as was busy at work, visiting mum and dad, usual daily chores etc Also I seem to be developing a throat infection and I sound like Barry White which was a bit frightening for the kids at school today!

dlb Just wanted to say I hope everything goes ok with your situation and that you sound like such a lovely mum and your kids know that you love them.

((((donna)))) big hugs and you know where we are if you need any support :) Also (((hugs))) to Tru, and to anyone else who needs one today.

Snow had been coming down thinly all day, but started thawing on the ground around midday... It was almost all gone but has now started laying again - just in time for rush hour  Hope OH gets home ok... I think he will in terms of the actual weather, but may take a loooong time if there's any accidents on the way.

MATH's sausage casserole is smelling divine - I can't wait for OH to come home so I can eat it!!! :rotfl:

Have also got a few items on Turbo Lister ready to go on a 3 day listing this evening - I'm selling a couple of necklaces (heart shaped locket and a Tiffany's heart necklace) so hoping to cater for the Valentines market (items will end Sunday, so payment depending I can post SD on Monday so they get it in time :T ) Need a few ££s to cover my gifts for the rest of the year (see sig!) Also going to bung a few of my old coursebooks onto Amazon as soon as I find out whether I've passed last semester or not :rotfl:

  • Hello, This is my first time in this thread, so hello everyone ;-)

Well today DH has been made redundant  , the company is insolvent so there is no money to pay anyone with, so we have to try and get it from the Government  , this means-
    1) We get the bare bare minimum
    2) We get to wait a good 6 weeks for the money to come through

Hmmmmm i think this board will be well used for the next few months:T . As long as our DS (age 2) is fed, clothed and watered, the bills come next and we come after that!

    Just felt like off loading!!

    Ali x
