Our half term isn't for a while yet, everywhere seems to be different. 19th, same as Tru's.

What amazes me is the way things come to a stand still when it snows, god help people from the UK if they ever lived in somewhere like Canada or Finland etc! People are saying to DP who is a tax driver, why have you gone to work, as he says why not, people need to get on with life, it's only snow!
One day I might be more organised...........

    (((((Donna))))

You will feel better once everything is out in the open and the dust settles.

DH has just come back from two days in Scotland - DDs and me are relieved that he is home safely.

Had his favourite soup in the slow cooker for when he got back so he really enjoyed that.

We have half term next week too!
I tried to snow here but did not really manage it.

Got two ten pound Boots vouchers from Pigsback today and if I spend £15 on No 7 stuff then I get a freebie worth £35 - so about £55 worth of stuff for the sake of doing a few clicks!:j

    Hugs to everyone.

    Evening All

Not read thread today so hope everyone is OK, hope you stayed safe and warm in the snow.

Loads of snow here today both childrens school closed so we made the most of it. Went sledging then came home and made a log fire. Had a new front door fitted which was chilly whilst being done but is lovely now.

    Hope you have great evenings.

We havent had any snow where I live, much to disappointment of my children.

Am getting hooked on reading all the posts and trying out the money saving tips.

Just one thing, can anybody tell me what all the abbreviations mean or if there is a key somewhere on the site? I think I have worked out some, but others mystify me!

    Good evening all,
I hope you all had a damage free day. Your piccies look lovely, unfortunately the snow here has melted but the 2 eldest had fun playing in it this morning.
Some extra special hugs needed today I think

heavenly20blue20hugs.gifespecially for you dlb I hope it works out OK for you, and there's plenty left over for every one else who needs one. xxxx

I have nearly finished the top to toe and am waiting for the Tesco shop to arrive so that I can go and put my nightie on (don't want to frighten the delivery man LOL!)

A big freeze is forecast over here tonight as well as some more snow so I hope the walk to work remains as easy as it was in the snow this morning.

I hope you all have a good night and keep warm.

    Smoky.xxxxx

Edit to say - welcome to the newbies.
