Haven't used firefox before, trying in google chrome but mse won't load (bbc did) Gmail opened in explorer

BBC not loading on explorer either. So browser?? Nothing happening on google chrome. Both just continually trying to open page or saying done when it's just blank.

IE, tools, internet options, advanced, reset internet explorer settings, ok

try 4 sites on IE and chrome, and report back

This is so frustrating cos I thought I was nearly sorted. Just reboot & get the latest hijackthis log posted - now I can't even get that up. Aaargh!!

So i need to reset my internet explorer settings? Will I need any codes/passwords or will none of this be effected? Sorry for being stupid.

All attempting to load slowly. Yahoo almost loaded on IE. Microsoft loaded on IE in strange format. Refreshed it & it's slowly loading in normal format.
