Advice on refund - I feel scammed

If the girlfriend doesn't understand that a large pool table will not fit in a small flat then perhaps a new girlfriend might be in order??
That would avoid you being "scammed" in future.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
Also, DSRs are seven WORKING days, not seven days.
Just for clarity
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
Thanks for the replies.
My use of the word 'scammed' was not the most appropriate. I hope the rest of the post made my predicament clear. The attitude of the employee that i spoke to left a lot to be desired and i was not best pleased when i got off the phone.
I work for a retailer myself and we are happy to accept returns for almost any reason as long as the customer can return the item(s) to us. It came as a bit of a shock that there are retailers using this policy over the festive period.

I dont need the company 'held responsible'. I am looking for my money back for an unopened item. I am happy to pay for the carrier to return the item. Your attitude echoes theirs only they did not see fit to offer advice on what my g/f should or shouldn't do.
@ Gavin83
Its 7 working days so i would still be within that today.

Thanks for the reply.
@ aldredd
Might try that...

Seriously? You could make a lot of money teaching people how to never make a mistake like you. You should run for PM.In my opinion it would be unfair to return the table even if you had the legal right to do so0 -
What date did you tell them you wanted to return it?One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

That sort of Trollish reply plus the 2633 forum posts on here in the last couple of years suggests that handing out relationship advice might not really be your bag. :rotfl:0 -
