    Hi!

A quick update from last weekend's list - also managed to get some sunshine time in the park with an impromptu picnic with reduced sandwiches from T3sco!

Feeling much better about the pregnancy after my appointment on Tuesday. I'd been really worried about it but it looks like everything is going okay.

I've been a bit overwhelmed at work the last couple of days - I really need to get a grip and keep calm! There is always so much to do!

I'm really looking forward to this weekend - hubby is away for the weekend. It's been ages since I've been home alone. I can't wait!!! Better not let DH know how much I'm looking forward to it!

I'm sure I'll have a list for the weekend!

    hope you are all okay.

    Hello

Well the sleeping in plan for today hasn't worked! I was wide awake at 6am!!

Oh well - I'll still try to have a relaxed weekend and get a few things done too. So here is my list:
    • Washing - darks, lights, curtains,
    • Ironing
    • Visit to town - have a mooch around and a coffee (decaf)
      • Banking
      • Collect my underwear order from M&S (also got some quidco cash with this!)
      • Visit p£undland for some basics
      • Collect holiday spending money
      • Sun lotion for hols
    • Work on sewing project
    • Order the remaining materials needed for sewing project
    • Crochet 5 squares
    • Arrange swaps for my voluntary shifts so I can attend antenatal classes.
    • Voluntary job this - 2 shifts
    • Decide if I want any books given to me by brother and rest to charity/car boot pile.
    • find a charity for some other items dad wanted to get rid of
    • Put aside clothes for dry cleaning
    • 30 minutes tidying in bedroom
    • Tidy living room
    • Bathroom
    • Kitchen
    • Sort out work bag - this needs doing as I am getting overwhelmed at work.
    • Find a local pregnancy yoga class for me to go to regularly.
    • Catch up with a couple of friends/family
    • Treat myself to a home facial
    • update spreadsheets and check online banking
Okay - there is lots there but I will make sure that I take some me time.

Off for a shower so I can catch a lift to town centre with DH before he heads off for the weekend.

  • Wow Urg, an impressive list

Now if I could only get myself organised to do a third of that :o My monthly ones seem to have a habit of rolling forward to the next month

Hope you're feeling better now, and yes ... remember to take time out for yourself ... relax & pamper. :p

Not everything done. I am struggling with tidying/cleaning. I am sat here watching the hoarding programme on BBC1 . Hubby thinks I am heading there! I do have a lot of stuff and I need to deal with it - especially before baby comes. My office at work is also full of stuff. I get so overwhelmed with the workload that I am always running to stand still at work.

I'm off on holiday this Saturday - I can't wait. I really need it. Lots has been going on and I think I need some space to deal with things.

I'm really tired now - going to head off to bed. Not really been sleeping well either. probably a bit of stress and hormones!

    hope you are all okay.

Not sure if I should post this. At the moment I am stressed. Life is throwing curveballs that I'm struggling with at the moment.

My dad is not great and has an appointment at the hospital
tomorrow morning. I am so scared - it could be really serious. We found out while we were on holiday.

My hubby is also facing a horrible time at work and is at risk of losing his job.

I am so grateful that I have friends in my life. A friend who I hadn't seen in nearly three years has stepped up to help my hubby with the work problem. We also spent a couple of days with my best friend and her family. These things have kept me going.

It's hard to describe - in so many ways I am blessed (lovely husband and friends, pregnancy) but in others I just feel like it never really stops. I seem to lurch from one crisis to another.

I am so scared about tomorrow. I have had two weeks off work and don't feel like I will be going back relaxed and refreshed. I just have this pit in my stomach.

So sorry to post such a negative post.

  • I am sending hugs Urg, that horrid one crisis to the next feeling is awful. Am sure your OH will sort the crappy job thing. Friends are great aren't they?

I can't say don't worry. I can't really say much. I would say keep yourself busy but am worried you won't rest.

All I can do is send love and hugs xx
