Sorting out loads of of stuff and very little work being done but hey Jo they have still not given me an offer so I doubt it will be before Monday now. We have a two day residential strategy session Thurs &Fri next week and I am sure I shall be attending. Hopefully they will know by then who is doing what or it shall be a bit pointless. It's actually 1 1/2 South of HQ so I can travel up Thursday morning.

Ordered a gifgaf SIM card should get £5 when I t it up. DH contract ends in March so if he cancels that and goes onto gifgaf contract we can call each other for free. He hardly ever use his phone so would be good to have same network really.

Also got car insurance turns out that you cannot use company car no claims so have to start again. Still I have had 7 free years. Cost £100 more so £290 for cover and £22 cashback with Quidco. Did look at compare the market and it was the same and I can live without fluffy toy.

Bought tickets to fly to Manchester on Sunday my friend will meet me there with the car and take the train back. I will end up with two cars for a while but I am sure work will want theirs back soon. I can always keep the new one in FILs garage.

Also booked hotel for tonight 2 hours away but traffic on the M25 cannot be trusted and I don't want to be late for tomorrow's gig. £6 cashback and now only need 4 night before I have earned another free night with hotels.com. Would be nice to take DH somewhere free for two nights.

Got the application forms for 3 jobs now got two weeks to do them in. Quite fancy the most local one its something I used to do prior to this job and really loved. I fit the person spec quite well just need to make sure they agree my qualifications are ok. I am applying to do a professional certificate (Uni level) but home study. I guess I can say they can employ me on the basis I have to pass it.

Lastly found out the recycling factory no longer pay for my cartridges so asked for Tesco points instead. Got £17.60 sitting there and they only pay out at £20 so asked them about that.

Also returning three shelves for my greenhouse as they are wrong, should net meg£60 or so. Every little helps now.

Just exchanged £10 of club card points for £30 for Thompson and Morgan will buy goodies for my greenhouse with that. Usually get top gear subscription for DH.

Also got a 1000 points voucher if I buy 6 bottles of wine online that's got to be worth it.

Got the phone all this evening, basically they need me for the next 2 to 3 months (takes us to May) not 5 days a week more like 3 or 4 but I will get paid full time. On top of that I get £15k tax free redundancy pay even if I find a job in my notice period. I can also hand back my company car if I want to.

To say I am happy I went up and spoke to them and queried their offer is an understatement. I got some good pointers on the redundancy board so that helped. I am still going to apply for 3 local jobs and if I get anything I will have to deal with it. I can still do the course I want starting in April and help out at office if needed.

Gives me some breathing space but as you know being MF has made the biggest difference in this.

  • Please change the title to LOSE. One O, not two. How has it been left so long?

I don't mind about your spelling, the SPAG police are everywhere!
