Why are the DD for the older children still coming out of your a/c? Is this not something that social services can assist with?

As your DD's are on benefits could they have their bills come out directly from their benefit.

All gas/electric companies offer Fuel Direct and all water companies offer Water Direct.

You do not need to be in arrears to go on these plans, you just need to be at risk of falling behind which I think the girls are.

Hope you get the money from Social Services soon.

I do not remember ever being told about this possibility even though I am sure that I have asked in the past if someone could help them.
When I am up to it, I will ring up the suppliers and see what I can do about this. I am getting rather fed up with dealing with these companies and none of them ever say that there is this option, even though I tell them that they are vunerable young adults etc and the Bromford Housing Support Officers who are there to make sure that the girls are OK and help with the finances have never ever said that this was an option. The girls have prepay meters for the Electric. One has for her Gas, but has had the gas turned off as she wasnt usuing it and ran up arrears on the Supply costs.

I am still feeling very jaded and struggling, so not doing anything at the moment.
I need to be better for tomorrow, as I have my usual busy Wednesday.

I have spent an hour today cleaning in Twin2's place.
Now I know that I shouldnt do things but it was very important to at least get the sink and the dishes clean.
I got DS to cut the lawn at the front. The back is 5ft high weeds. So he just sort of pulled up and flattened some of them so that we could get her to put out her washing. Which I made her put on. Infact I took my washing liquid, and cleaning materials with me to try and sort things out.
I have taken photographs, that you would not believe of the state of the place. Next is to try and get hold of the correct department to talk to about the neglect etc that has been happening.
She says that she is coping. Well not in my book!. I just showed Mollys daughter some of the pictures on the camera, and she was horrified.
I would put them on here but need to upload them to the laptop first, and then onto a site somewhere. Normally i just copy over from my blog when putting up pictures of my sewing.
But I think if I put the pictures up you wouldnt believe me anyway.
Local tip is tidier, and less full.
I have several issues to deal with, and not sure which and were is the best priority. Once again.
As soon as I was feeling better, and started to do things, I have put myself back a bit, as I have been over doing it, and that sets the pain levels back off. So I have to be more co-ordinated with the things that I do.
The lodger at twin2 has gone, after a row this weekend, and taken the back door key with her too.
There are so many issues to be addressed. I cannot get hold of thier social workers, well there is a surprise!.
I have left a call at the local Police support officer, asking him for some feedback etc, and to let him know that there are changes.
Now I am going to search.

Just as I was writing this I had a phone call from a new Service provider for Twin2! I have just emailed her some of the photos of Twin2's place.
Also had the social workers from that Girl on the phone and told them what I know. They may not be thrilled at my telling them how to do thier jobs so to speak but! In my opinion enough is enough!.

Please, please don't put them on public view here. It humiliates her because if she could cope she would and sadly she can't and doesn't realise she can't.
It's not her fault her home situation is dreadful, it's the fault of the system which lets her down.

Alas it wouldnt humiliate her, as she has not got that emotion. She doesnt understand.
But I wont put the pictures up, now that i have found someone who will take a look professionally.
They say that they will go out and see her at 10am next Tuesday. I hope that with the pictures as evidence that all was not right, just becuase we have gone and done a blitz to part of the house today.
I have had a call from the police, but missed it as I had gone back to Town to check things had been done and to make sure that all was alright.
I have to catch up with a bit more of my work now, and alas it means that I havent as yet been out in this glorious sunshine!. Sodds law.

Still no funding, and I am rather annoyed that I am not getting replies to my calls or to my emails at the moment. I dont want to resort to living on the credit card, but it looks like I will have too. Had to get the basic shopping and my fuel on it today. Fingers crossed that we get back on track soon. I was so careful with the money, and tried so hard to keep ontop of things, it would be a nuisance if it all went wrong now. Nearly 4 weeks without the funds I am used to is getting to be very hard work.
Got to go, expecting a visitor tonight.

Err, not good!
always telling her she needs to have a wash.
Her answer is to use deodorant! I tell her that masking the smell isnot good, she needs to get a shower/bath etc and daily washes. I doubt she even washes her hands after going to the loo! Unless she has been reminded.
Occasionally she goes for a bath, to soak in some new smellies, but its occassionally.
She doesnt usually have clean towels, or bedding for that matter.
I have to nag, nag and nag! Its hard work.
her twin is nearly as bad at times, but not quite! THank goodness.
Alas everything leaves a lot to be desired!.:(
