Brighton Belle you may be right there.
I am really tired, and struggling today. I had a good day yesterday, working on some alterations, for a customer, then designing a bag, and making one, and part making 3 others.
I then went to the cinema in the evening, and DS babysat for me.
He has a little work this weekend, I hope it will lead to other stuff. We will see.
Twin1 was away all week, so not a peep out of her.
Twin2 contacted me, via DS on Facebook, requesting help with a magistrates court fine for not having a TV license. Arghh. The one who watches TV doesnt have a license, yet the one who hasnt got live TV has a license! I give up.
I have paid out the fine, and she will pay me back next time she gets some money. (I have heard that one before).
She has some work at the Silverstone race course next weekend, but she has had to sign off, and will have to sign back on again, afterwards. For 3 days work, i wonder why she bothered really. It will affect her housing benefit and council tax payements to mention having to do a rapid reclaim on her JSA! I suppose at least she wants to work. Carpark duties.

I have been looking after DGD and DGD2 today. So I am tired out, we were up early as I dropped DS off at 7.30am before going to care for DGD2. We were only home at 5.30 today, as well.

I will try and get my act together this coming week.
PS EDF energy have refunded my £179 already. Yipee.

I have absolutely no idea how come the time is flying past so much? I have been doing about 30 minutes a day in the front garden, trying to reclaim the wilderness. Today I went to a couple of garden centres and bought a dozen plants to put into the garden, to inspire me to do more. DGD helped me to put them in this afternoon.
Twin2 has gone to a wedding in Leicester. Apparantly the family paid for her to go on the train. Biggest of Mooloo took her to the trainstation and put credit on her phone for her to be able to keep intouch.
Twin1 is back from her holiday, but has not bothered to find time to see her daughter. Its difficult to fathom that one out.
Rumour has it that the boys have not yet been adopted, and that the father of DGS1 has been granted access to see him again!. He told twin2 this on facebook I think. She said that although it hurt that she thought it was best not to start to confuse the boys by reappearing into their lives and then disappearing again when the adoption does happen. But it hurts her a lot.
I shall keep a close eye on her over the next few weeks to see if she is OK.
I havent even managed to touch base with Molly at the moment. I hope that she managed to go on her sewing course this weekend.
I have been sewing a lot more again, and searching and downloading some pdf patterns to make dolls clothes and childrens clothes as i have some really good remenants that I think will work well.
I have had a form from the school that DGD is going to be going to, and I may be able to get free school meals for her. This would be a bonus. I have filled it in and will send it off tomorrow.
There hasnt been any bills or post over the last couple of days so thats good. The DD's etc will go out tomorrow, and for once I am not worried. I am managing to keep on top of the income now that it is starting to be regular.
I must just sort the rent out as I cant remember howmuch I am supposed to be paying. I really have a bad memory, and forget so much. I have a todo list now. But I dont always remember to put things on it.!! My brain is scrambled at times.
On the plus, I am feeling rather more positive, and although I am not focused, I have a few plans to aim for.
Time to get DGD to bed.

Well I have started today, by putting 11% of the income into the savings pot.
The gate was done on Saturday, which makes a difference to the back, but also made a dent of £150 in the savings pot, so if I want to hit my newer targets then I will need to be a bit better at my budgeting.
Want to do some sewing today, so I better get myself moving.
Its raining, that fine persistant rain. So the gardening is off the To Do List.
Remembered to update my Hotmail Calander, so that I am getting reminders of the days appointments in the mornings. Not sure how organised I will stay though.
Hoping to see Molly tomorrow. Really looking forward to that. Havent managed to see her in a few weeks. Life has been busy for both of us.

Managed to make a few bits and pieces yesterday. Not as much as I would have liked, but I did finish the bag for my brothers birthday.
The pictures are on my homepage blog.
I was so pleased with the results and am eagre to make a few more.
Just hoping that I can get to the sewing machine later today, after I have collected twin1 to come and see DGD.
Molly may be coming over soon. I hope. I am not sure if I am supposesd to go to her, or her to come to me? What a memory I have, i better go and check!. derrrr.

    No bills today.
Rang the Jobcentre to ask for a letter of proof of benefit to give to the solicitor as I cant find an upto date one.
Been pottering in the kitchen and sitting room.
The estranged hubby came over with some paperwork from the DVLA he needed to fill in since his heart operation. So I filled that out for him. He is useless with forms and letters!. absolutely useless.
DS is still in bed! He was on the X box again half the night.
If hes not asleep, hes on that or talking to his girlfriend on the phone. Teenagers.!!!
DGD has managed to damage the screen on the TV!, right in the middle of the plasma screen there are marks that have deleted the pixels or something. so annoyed. Keep telling her to get away from the TV, and to not touch it!!! (My Dad gave us the Tv earlier in the year). Not something that I could afford to buy.
Right time for me to get on.

Had a busy day. Whats new. Yesterday I took DS to work, a last minute call from the pub asking for some help. They seem to be asking for him a lot at the moment. Think its because the landlord works for one of the formula one teams locally, and its a busy time with Silverstone on this weekend. collected twin1 at the same time, so she was able to stay with DGD and I got to have an hours sleep in the afternoon. Which I needed as I had a headache.
Then I had to go and collect DS again. Stopped to have a drink and a chat before coming back. Seems to be the only time DS really talks to me. He doesnt talk in the car much as he gets car sick, so he shuts his eyes and sleeps!.
When I got back, and had dinner, I just sat and did some hand sewing.
Todays post was just junk mail. No bills is always good. Still waiting to hear from the housing etc.
Twin1 says that the visit for the Liveability peoples help, seemed to go well, and the think that they can help her.
She was turned down for her DLA again. Which is unfair when her sister gets it and she doesnt. She is the worst of the two as well.!!
I give up the system is useless.
I still have to fill in my ATOS form again. Worried that I will loose my ESA after just fighting to get it back!.
Today I had my hair done, and had 3 minutes on the sunbed. So I feel better that way, but the headaches are back, and I had to have a lie down when i got back from my councilling session. Lucky DS was here to keep an eye on DGD.
Things are sort of settling into a bit more of a pattern here at home now. And I am getting used to him being around. I dont know what he will eat tonight though as I didnt do a meal. I didnt feel like it, with this headache, and DGD just had eggs and toast for a change. I had marmite and toast!.
The headache is still here, so I think I will be off to bed very soon.

Morning. Feel slightly better today. Headache is still there, but much duller, thank goodness. Today I have a lot of housework to catch up on, and want to sort out some sewing as well.
I would like to make a washbag for my brother, but need to find the plastic shower curtaining to line it. But where in the loft will that be! Argh.
DS is at home until this evening, so I may send him to look, but I dont want the boxes all messed up.
    This evening its parents evening.
I also have to take the tent to Twin2, and what ever else she needs and take her to Silverstone as she is doing the carpark marshalling.
Then it will be stear clear of the area, the roads will be a four lane, all roads into Silverstone from the M40 right through, from the A5 at Towcester, and the M1, all lanes into silverstone. Then in the evenings the roads are reversed and its all roads out again!. Massive detours in place.
    Yuk.
Time to get DGD dressed for nursery. I hate this moment as its always a struggle or a fight to get her ready.

Mooloo try threatening to take her to nursery in her PJ's and carry it out if she does not get dressed. I doubt she would make a fuss again and you can take her clothes with you. Nursery will have come across this lots of times.

I did this to DD twice, the first time she thought it was funny, the second.........it worked and she never did it a third time! I do occasionally have to remind her before school that if she doesn't get dressed I WILL walk up the road with her in her PJs and uniform in a bag. It works a treat :)

Busy day yesterday, did some sewing in the morning, making some dolls bedding. Then it was packing etc. Had to have a rest when I had help with DGD as I am still getting these horrible headaches.
Then it was an afternoon that went completely wrong, and due to the traffic in Towcester being horrific, I got stuck in Tesco carpark, for 45 minutes!. I missed the school parents evening.
I got the car covered in mud, as well as my feet, taking Twin2 to Silverstone. She is helping out Marshalling in the carparks. I hate to think what she will be like by the end of it, the tent is already pitched in a mudbath!.
I had a lovely hot soak in the bath last night. I intend to only do some hand sewing today. Take it as easy as I can. But I do need a trip to the Post office to post a Parcel to my Brother. Although I do have 6 days to get it to him, I want it to be there before his birthday rather then after it!.
