Sue that is fantastic - thankyou.
It is a bright red.She has three wishes - to come to my house for a meal, have the blessing and go on a rollercoaster - I can make 2 of then happen, the rollercoaster is a little harder!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Ah, my bag's no good then. However I think you'd probably find a small clutch / makeup bag in a charity shop in a suitable colour. Maybe to match shoes, what's she doing for shoes? Ignore me if you're doing this on the Health and Beauty board ... I've got nothing suitable! But any help with running repairs, just PM!
Thanks - havent got as far as shoes - it maybe just red slippers for comfort with a couple of ribbons - ankles are swollen and walking id not great.
Haven't asked on the other boards - I know you lot here and feel comfortable asking for help here. xx
I can imagine! Looks like there's one at Brean, nearest I can think of, shame you missed the Funderworld on the Downs, BUT I guess there may be medical reasons against this anyway.
I'll take her anywhere she wants to go but with my back and her morphine it could be a whole new episode of casualty:rotfl::rotfl: Hoping this wish will be forgotten with all the other things she needs to get in order .Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -

We have something called xscape up here in Yorkshire, it's a indoor ski complex but anyway they have these rides that are like a virtual coaster. Maybe if you can't do the real thing, you may have something similar near you. They are intended to be childrens rides but I jump on with my little lad0 -
Morning, i am back from my weekend away.
DS is going to go up into the loft for me today, and I will get that dress down. Gizmo pm where to send it too. Although I came to your house I cant remember the address! (I was three sheets to the wind!).
The dress only went up there a week ago, Wednesday when DS moved in. It was in the room he is now using. Sods law that one!.
After a weekend of relaxation, its time for me to get my act together and catch up on some of the mundane jobs, some of the sewing jobs, and some of the paperwork that I need to do.
I had a letter from the council telling me that they have suspended my housing benefit from the 1st May, due to loosing my ESA. I now have to prove my income, and to take the last two months worth of bankstatements and the rest. The fact that the income I had then is more than I am getting now is beside the point apparantly.
I have nothing to hide, but I really get the proverbial pd off when some office clerk in the local offices gets to see where i spend my money. They even photocopy it, which I think is wrong. But I suppose everyone on housingbenefit are in the same situation.
They are going to love me then as I have more bank accounts then you can shake a stick at! What with the carers money in one bank account, DS's JSA in another, DGD's savings in my ISA and of course my own savings accounts, etc etc.
Oh well. Let them scramble that one! As long as they dont think that the funds going into each account are all the sum total of my income, cos mostly its me moving it around, so that I managed to keep to the terms of my accounts to get my cashback!
I do like to complicate things!! (not really, its just the way it turns out>).
DS seemed to have managed on his own at home, not much of a mess, although a few pizza boxes in the recycling, and a few dishes in the sink. He will learn.
Time to go and wake up DGD and get her ready for Nursery.
I am a bit slow still, what with the terrible reactions to the meds last week, and being on half dose of my Diclofenic. Its beginning to have the repercussions of not having the same amounts, so my arm is not good, and my neck has stiffened up considerably with the lack of movement I suppose.
Right time to get on. Have a good day all. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Mooloo, try & print statements all on the same day so you have got a total balance of all moeny, and highlight any transfers from one account to another...you never know, someone may miss those when looking0 -
Just waiting for an address and then I can send off this dress/jacket/and a bag. Hopefully they will be of use.
Been sewing for a while today, working on my back orders, but had to stop to do a mercy dash to twin1, who had run out of food!. I didnt want to give her any money, so I parcelled up a pork chop, some sprouting brocolli, a few spuds, 4 slices of bread, a soup packet and a mixed rice packet, along with some cereal we had. Then I just had to buy a carton of milk.
Delivered, didnt stay and went to my parents to get the strimmer, as DS is cutting the lawn etc. Couldnt get the right attachments for the strimmer though. Popped into Aldi and picked up some long handled secueters, and a few reduced plants from Homebase. But couldnt get the parts I wanted which was a bit frustrating.
All ready to go for some jobs, just need the tools.
The neck is quite sore now, from all the extra movement, but at least I feel I have achieved something.
DS has moved my garden swing, he has also put out the garden furniture to get a better picture of the garden now. Things are much improved on last year.
I have been doing the washing all along as well, there are 3 loads on the line, one just finished in the machine and 2 left to do.
(Thats not bad as its most of last weeks washing, and I dont mix up the colours much!).
Time to get on. Will keep my eye out for Gizmo. But it looks like I will have to wait to post the parcel till tomorrow now. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I actually managed to finish off the sewing jobs that I had to do. All parceled up and ready to send.
DS managed to help with the garden etc, so it was a productive day all around, if interrupted alot.
My bones are aching so its time to rest up with a cuppa and possibly an early night. Although my bed is covered in clothes from the ironing pile.
Still not my sactuary yet! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Hi Mooloo,
Sorry took so long to get back to you but have had a mad day at work and visiting etc. I've PM'd you my address.
Thanks xxMama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -
Ok, its all ready to go now Gizmo.
Time to hang up my hat for the evening. Take care all.
Tomorrow is another hectic day.
I have had to draft my father in to play chaeffuer for me.
after taking DGD to nursery, I am going into town to pick up the old husband, and take him to the Heart specialist in Northampton. Meanwhile I normally take DS to sign on, so Dad is taking him, and at the same time taking Twin1 who also has an appointment in the town. These are two hours after my going in, so would be a bit too long a day to hang around and would cost a fortune in lunches etc! (been there before).
If I helped with the bus fare I would be over £15 out of pocket. So Dad is the next best thing.
He is only going to drop them off, and not wait for them, so they either have to wait for me, after my councilling, between 1pm and 2pm or get a bus back. My Mum is kindly going to give them the bus fare back, as she knows that my funds are limited now.
I didnt get around to doing any paperwork today. That will have to be my job for tomorrow evening now. Too tired to dig out all the printer etc and to write letters, copy letters etc etc.
So Wednesday evening will be Office Time. I bought some new folder dividers and seethrough wallet thingys. so that I can section up my files a bit better.
(Paper work is my nemisis). When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well at least the tax credit run on payment went in today. Thats a relief. No sign of any change over ones though. I suppose that would have been too much of a good thing.
Was up at 6.15 this morning. So I could have a slow start to the day, rather then rush.
DGD has had her breakfast and is dressed ready for Nursery.
DS is up, as he has to go and stop at his sisters for a while before my Dad takes them to sign on etc. He is actually ironing his clothes, and looking really really smart. Makes a transformation thats for sure.
I am a bit achey, from the sewing yesterday I suppose, my head was probably too far forward for too long.
I shall just try and take today at a steady pace. I hope that we are not too long at the hospital, and that things are not too difficult to understand and relate to the ex. My BF is a little put out of course, which I suppose is understandable, but he did say he didnt want me to hide anything from him, so there is not a lot I can do about it.
Have a good day all. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
