Hi Mooloo, I find its always worth the sometimes considerable effort ( if you have had a bad/long day ) to leave all washing up done and everything downstairs tidy ready for a fresh start next morning:j I am a grea tbeliever in tidying up as you go along rather than a mammoth clean which really takes it out of you especially with health problems! All the best, love your thread, dont post often but catch up every day:Denjoy every day, you dont know how long youve got!:o0

As usual different day then I had envisaged. Oh well thats my life all over.
Twin1 and DS wanted me there with the meeting with the housing, so I went over there. Had a cuppa with them before the meeting. I hope that we will have managed to sort out some of the issues, and also alert the housing to her plight. etc. If there are no more complaints etc we may have some hope, alas the new neighbours that moved in, also youngsters used to live next to her in the last place, and were loud, noisy, drinking, smoking and drugs!!!!!! So thats not so good. I hope she doesnt get the blame for any of thier comings and goings!.
Anyway we will deal with that when it comes, if it comes.
I went to see my parents while I was in the town.
The afternoon seems to have disappeared with reading the post, and my emails etc. etc.
Time to cook an omelette for tea. need to use up some eggs.
BF sent me an email he had at work about a Sleep roadshow at his work, with links too NHSwebsites!! Do you think he is trying to tell me something?
He is due over tonight. Will be nice to see him and relax infront of the TV with him. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Maybe your BF thinks you may benefit from the information...it's a good sign that he's considering your wellbeing anyway0

A day which actually went according to plan! Babysat for DGD2. DGD1 went to see her mum this morning.
Back home, managed a rest as DS came back with me to help me with some jobs. But I was so tired after a bad nights sleep that I decided the rest was the most urgent.
Just done the dinner. Time for DGD's bath. Then a glass of wine is in order I think.
Aim to be dismantling the bunk bed so DS has space for his sofa bed. And some how moving my sewing stuff around/and the boxes in my room so that we can move in there!. I cannot find any of the things I need to do my sewing and its sure bugging me.
I missed the bags to school drop yesterday. So have a bag of bits that will have to go to the charity shop instead.
Notice Ebay are free insertions this weekend. Will I actually get the organisational time! to get anything on there? Probably not. But who knows stranger things have happened to me of late!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I have spent all day sorting out the bedrooms etc.
Not completely finished, but I actually tackled 6 big removal boxes that were in my room.
DS dismantled the cabin bed, now we just have to get it shifted.
He wants to bring in his sofa bed that we had bought when he was here before.
I am aching all over, so have the heatpad on my back now. Hopefully I will not seize up!
There are still a few large boxes left to tackle, and then its sorting out the washing/ironing pile.
Managed to get DS to put fabrics, and other things up in the loft out of the way. Its filling up fast! Oh dear.
But I will have to just get him to come and go for me, to get what I want from up there, as and when I need it. Not the best of ways to work, but it will have to do, unless I can rethink the way we use the rooms in the house!
BF is due to come here any minute now. He was giving me space and time to do my blitzing. I hope that he is able to notice the difference. Trying to get the bedroom to begin to look like a bedroom and less like a storage hold.
Filled the bins, got a bag for the Charity shop, and a bag of books, and some clothes for Biggest of Mooloo. Collapesed 6 large boxes, and shredded a carrier bag full of paperwork.
How did it all fit in my room? Dont ask. It was piled to the ceiling practically. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Getting rid of clutter is a fantastic way of clearing your mind too!0

Would love to Clear my mind a bit more! As well as the drawers I think! Why is it every room seems to have a dumping drawer these days??:o
DS was told his JSA was stopping as he hadnt been there. I went with him so I know he was. Then this morning when I log onto the bank to check my balance they have paid him again? What are they on about? Incompetant or what!.
Oh well, we are grateful for the small mercies and the fact that he has now got money afterall. Saving me having to try and find funds out of thin air.
His Dad is going to help him to move the cabin bed to twin1's, and bring DS's sofa bed back here, tomorrow.
So looks like DS is moving in Tomorrow then. Not a problem now that the room has been sorted out. Although it means the food will have to be stretched for a few days till I sort out the shopping.
We have the meeting with the Adult Social Worker today, 12noon with Twin1. Lets hope that it gets us somewhere.
I dont feel very well today. Feel rather sick. hope I am not going to be ill. Just havent got the time. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mooloo, remember to adjust your council tax payments in your budget - with DS moving in, you'll lose the 25% single person discount - and he's not going to get any addition to his JSA as he is moving back in with you0
-
Have you organised a token rent payment for him to give to you? I was thinking, if he is short of work and money, can he go door to door asking for gardening or odd jobs from your neighbours? That way he is kept busy, earns a bit of money and is out from under your feet.0

I already realised about the Council Tax. Alas.
With Both of us being on Benefits, I believe that it may still end up covered, but will check that one out.
With lack of funds, DS will be continuing with his computer course, and looking for work.
Alas there are no neighbours in close proximity that we would be able to offer his services too, at the moment. Most already have thier own gardening services and there own maintenance man. But its always a thought to try and get with those people. Not that DS is that good.
He can learn doing my garden, etc as he should have done when we first moved here.
What ever the system throws at us, we will just have to face it and deal with it. Nothing more that we can do.
If there is an increase in the council tax that is not helped by him being on benefits, then he will have to help out of his JSA I suppose. But we are trying to help him to reduce his debts, and save funds for the miracle move to Scotland where he wants to be.
I cannot fund any of this, so its sorting out his meagre funds which will be the hardest task. And I would say that we will probably fall at the first few attempts, but try, try and try again is all that we can do.
I am going to see my old husband today, to help him sort out his things ready to move back with his Dad. He has had two heart attacks and last week, a hole in his heart was patched last Tuesday.
Ironically tomorrow I am seeing the solicitor about our divorce!. Only 7 odd years on!
I was really not too well yesterday, so not alot got done. Went to bed in the afternoon, and also as soon as I could get DGD to bed. Although she didnt fall asleep until nearly 9pm. I am struggling with her stopping in her room at the moment. All new I suppose.
Time to get on. She is still in bed this morning, (no wonder after so late to sleep). Just had my shower and cup of tea, so I can get dressed before she wakes if I am lucky. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
