I am this side of Bristol - :j:j The one that I used to use is no longer there - used to be on the corner opposite the forresters.
Oh excellent, for some reason I thought you were out somewhere furrin like Patchway or Filton!

Anyway, it's Mambo in Westbury Village, nearly opposite Lloyds, and Olive Green (I think) in Stoke Lane, opposite the Coop. There are several charity shops nearby too, well only one in Stoke Lane.

The St Peter's Hospice shop in the village is one where I've found several stunning dresses.

    Going to PM you.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Might need a dry clean but it would be lovely if it was worn again x

Mooloo, sorry the drugs change has put you so out of sorts.

Gizmo, so sorry to hear about your friend :( The Weddings and celebrations girls on here may be able to help if you need anything else. I sometimes read their forum just because it is so nice to see them helping each other find things and for some of the homemade stuff they do.

will get the dress down when I get back, Monday, bag it up, and get it to you Gizmo. Am afraid that I will not be able to bring it myself and do any alternations. Time limits as we are off on holiday in a week.
Just got home to collect DGD and going back to Oxford. Borrowed BF's car, so must dash. Big hugs to all. Have a good weekend if you can.

Perfect excuse to take her out to coffee there if there's anything suitable over there. Good coffee shops in both WoT and Stoke Lane - the lunches in Zest are amazing! But book a table ...

Mind you if the dress being posted to you is OK, that won't be a problem. If it needs any minor repairs let me know if you need a hand, I don't really do alterations, but I can fix a hem or a seam!

What kind of red is it? I think I have a small dark red purse / handbag, not much space for more than a few tissues and a lipstick, but what more would you need on such a day?

Sue that is fantastic - thankyou.
    It is a bright red.
She has three wishes - to come to my house for a meal, have the blessing and go on a rollercoaster - I can make 2 of then happen, the rollercoaster is a little harder!

Mooloo - Thankyou so much xx
