I meant her locals not her readers ... ie people who might see her to pass some bits'n'pieces on!!! but as she and Molly hope to be there in person, that will be straightforward!

Molly and I are looking forward to coming. Health being OK. We have booked into a hotel, and will come down on the day before. So we are not exhausted. What with both of us usually going to bed early, and being up a lot in the night!.
It will be a very looked for break for me away from the usual family dramas. :D
Twins rang me again to settle another of thier arguements! Grr I could throttle them.
Last night Biggest of Mooloo's rang me around 1am. Baby was vomitting and she wasnt sure of what to do. So was awake a lot longer afterwards as I am anyway around that time.
Funnily after saying Night to BF on the old phone I ended up staying up another hour and a half, as I went into my work room to put some bits away, and this time I sat down and finished off a few sewing jobs. One lead to another and I finished off the other cushion cover for the DGD's bedroom, and made her about 4 different sized draw string bags. Ready to hold her smaller toys etc.
I have two more of those nets that hang from the ceiling for the soft toys. I shall have to find the right hooks for the ceiling, and how to get that sorted.
Family have been told that they are going to have to come here and help me move everything around at the weekend. or else!!!
Time to get dressed Nursery run in 30 minutes.

    Baby was fine yesterday.
DS needed a lift to sign on as he had forgotten to go the day before, but I had to go and collect an ottaman from my friend, that I didnt manage to collect on Tuesday. So I got him to do the lifting.
Went around the shops a little bit with him and bought him a jumper. I know I am soft old mum.

The twins have got thier laptops from the council course they had reserved them from. So they are both happy. Wonder how long it is till they either get "stolen/losts" or broken.
Told them all that they are helping me tomorrow to move the materials etc up into the loft and empy the workroom ready for DGDs bedroom.
Next week I am aiming to get them decorating. (Little do they know).
Had a row with Twin1 today, as the place was a mess again. Will be taking DGD with me to look after the baby on a Friday from now on. (Unless mum gets her act together).

The Social worker has been and gone again. Yet another lot of forms etc etc.
She has been intouch with the birth father, who is not contesting the Guardianship and who verbally agreed that it was the best for DGD. but when asked if he would put that he writing he said he wasnt sure as it might affect his chances if he changes his mind!!!!!! She told him that she cannot advise him and that he must go and seek legal advise. Lets hope that he doesnt change his mind.
I am tired and still sore. My arm has been bad for a week now.
But I am not surprised that its sore today. As lifting the baby would have aggravated it.

Oh well, I can relax when DGD is settled. She is much queiter then I am used too at the moment, she is enthralled with Fireman sam. It makes a difference from Scooby Doo anyway.

BF is not coming over this weekend, on my advice. Family and he dont really mix. He didnt seem bothered, well if he did all I got was an OK text so who knows?

    Time to get on.

I was in bed by 8pm, writing my diary, and lights out by 9pm I think.
I had a reasonable sleep, (between loo breaks!), but DGD woke me at 6.40! I will have to find another way of getting her to stay in bed. As she will not do it unless my BF is here. If he is not about then I will not get any lay ins at all!.

I have been playing around on the laptop this morning, looking at clothes patterns for kids etc. Want to get my sewing planned so that we only put the fabrics etc that I will not need in the next month up in the loft. I will be lost if I cannot have any sewing available to me, while the room moves are being sorted out.

I am quite sore still. So its a bit frustrating. I really wanted to be up bright and breezy this morning. Ready to get the family into some sort of order and get that room empty.
Instead I feel drained, headachey, and still sore.!! GGGGGRRRRRRRR
On a good note, its not so foggy this morning, so I may be able to get some washing on the line. Really miss my cover on my rotary line.
Time for a second cup of tea I think.

Well the tablets should have kicked in by now, but if anything i am feeling worse. Oh no!.
Biggest of Mooloo has had to cancel as she has been sick all night. Her BF has taken the baby, and the car, and gone to his mothers (in a mood!). He is so like my BF its scarey.
My Dad, good old Dad, is going to pick up my son and twin1 and bring them here to help me with the start on the moving around. Save me driving, as my arm is not good.
Also means that its given me time to potter without rushing.
I wish I felt better. Doesnt help that the weather is horrible. its now raining. That grey drizzle. Doesnt help.
On the plus side it will save me petrol. My washing has fitted on the radiator rails, so I dont need to hang things out.
DS and Twin1 cannot get out of coming if my Dad is collecting them.
I can also send one of them to the shop for the odds and ends that I need rather then having to go down myself.
There is always a positive if there is a negative, we just have to find it.!!

Well the two did well. I still did far too much myself as twin1 is rather slow and I just wanted it all done. The room is practically empty now. Most of my sewing stuff is up in the loft at the moment.
I am exhausted, and there isnt a bone/muscle in my body that is not aching all over.
I am going to sleep well tonight.
I took them back home, and we had a McD for a late lunch, and then I dropped DS at the pub his girlfriends family run. Her mum gave me some lovely Yankee candles and some candle holders. Feel very lucky.
As BF is not coming over tonight. I dont have to cook a big dinner, dress up, or stay up late. At this precise moment, that sounds like heaven to me. I can put my sloppy joes on, and my slippers, and have a glass of wine, and a very early night. As soon as DGD is in bed, I will be I think.
Tomorrow I want to start to do some of the preping before we paint the room. Make sure I know what is going where. I am determind that we will get DGD a new bedroom before the end of the month. (May seem a long time to a lot of people but to me, thats pushing it, what with my health). DS told me off for doing too much. I said that i just had to do it and get it done, or I would not manage if I stopped. Grin and bare it. Grim determination. One or the other, if not both.

Go Mooloo, Go Mooloo:T:T:T Whoop, Whoop. Enjoy that wine and have a slurp for me (as I cant drink) xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I'm going to suggest a couple of ideas for keeping DGD in her room ... you'll know which might work!

    1. star chart: you'll need some kind of clock or timing device so she knows whether it is morning or not. I know you can buy special clocks, I think one features a bunny which is awake in the day and asleep at night, and you set the time at which bunny wakes up. Or you could put a lamp on a timer somewhere, maybe a nightlight plugged in where she can see but not reach it, if it's still 'on' then it's still night, if it's 'off' then it's day and she can get up, OR the other way round. Obviously needs to be not too bright or it will wake her up! She gets a star if she stays QUIETLY in her room without causing mischief until it's morning.

    2. A bit 'out of left field', but DS1 could not leave a jigsaw puzzle undone. After he'd gone to bed, I'd scatter a few puzzles over his floor, putting them together would slow him down slightly ...

    3. Make sure she has something to entertain herself, listening to a cassette, maybe something she only gets to play with first thing, a dolly who you leave out for her when you go to bed ...

    4. My tactic: I'd just be really grumpy until after 7 am. I still am, come to that. Mine soon learned that I really wasn't nice to know (and DS2 was an early riser!) :rotfl:

My Mum wasn't a morning person either and she passed it on to me! The rule was anything she agreed to before we left for school didn't count :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mooloo, well done for getting the troops rallied and so much work done today. But you do need to get the hang of directing operations rather than doing if you can!

Well within a couple of hours of updating this, I was struck down with the bug that Baby had and Biggest of Mooloo had on Saturday morning.
I spent all night Saturday from 9pm onwards being violently sick every 45 minutes or so. Then by the morning I was suffereing from the other end too!!! I had to call for my Dad's help to bring over a twin to help with DGD as I was not able to do anything.
Twin1 came over, and she kept DGD amused, and checked up on me. Alas being sick meant that I was not able to keep my tablets down, so all my other problems were exhasperated. I spent all day and all night in bed and am back in bed again now.
The twins have done a swap over and we have had to keep DGD home just incase, as we dont want to send her to nursery and pass a virus on, if she gets it.
I have manged to keep my tablets down this morning, so hopefully I am on the mend now. But as weak as a kitten.
The decorating will have to wait for a few more days alas.
This morning the post brought me my EDF Homeplus vouchers! After arguing my eliegability for the majority of the winter they sent me £120 vouchers to put on my electric meter key. Only snag is that my meter is due to be changed tomorrow for a normal one. So do i get Twin to go to the shop and load the key up with it all, and will the money be exchanged onto the system, or should I send it back and ask for it to be credited to my account? I cant think straight enough at the moment.
One of the school mums rang to see if I was OK as we were not at the school gates this morning.
Bless her. Good to know that people look out for me. I feel a very lucky person to have made some good friends over the last year or so.

Re the ideas for DGD, I will have a think, and start them off as soon as I can.

Thankfully I am now feeling much better. The tablets are starting to work again, and I am getting the balance in my nerve endings back. The red hot polker type needles have finally gone. The hot sweats etc. I am just rather jaded. Hopefully tomorrow I will finally be back to my normal self.
DGD is poping in and out as often as she can "escape" from her Mum. Earlier it was her aunty.
They take a few minutes to notice she has gone alas. So no change there.
I have been playing around on the internet and day dreaming about sunny climates!
    Ah well, we wish.
