Although I may not be able to sew for a few days.
My arm has decided that it is not playing the game this weekend, and was really, really painful. It caused me a problem since Saturday evening, and was so bad that it put a halt to me doing much at the weekend.
Saturday morning, DGD and I went to see the ducks at the lake, and I managed to walk around it (with my stick), and it was a lovely morning.
In the afternoon I was sitting on the swing in the garden soaking up the sun. (With a blanket over my knees), while DGD ran around the garden and did some digging.
Sunday, all I really did was the breakfast. By the time I had washed up and cooked I was done in.
BF took DGD to the park for me, letting me have a sleep. Although the rest of the time we were rather at a distance. he really doesnt know how to cope with me when I am struggling. Which is sad, and difficult. I have tried to talk to him but he doesnt seem to have any answers for me. Shrugs and dont knows!
Today I have to wait in for the housing to repair the bathroom light, and an argos delivery. Hopefully Molly is coming over to have a cuppa and we can put all the world to rights. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Are any of Mooloo's locals planning to come to the Bristol meet on 31st March, out of interest?Signature removed for peace of mind0

We had talked about it but dont know yet xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Yipee, I have managed to get DGD's grandad to have her for the weekend, so I can be free to come to Bristol. Yeah! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

We have now booked our hotel as well. So fingers crossed that our Health will be OK that weekend. So excited. But it will mean that I will definitely have to make some money savings between now and then!.
DGD is having a bath, and then its an early night, and maybe the superscrimpers on the tv at 8pm. Recording it incase I dont manage to make it.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Evening. I had a busy day today. Of more fun time for a change. After taking DGD to nursery I went to meet my friend and we went to Stoney Stratford. Hunting the charity shops! We went to kiln farm first where there is a large Ageuk furniture shop, but it also sells lots of other stuff from bric a brac and books.
I picked up a picture, single duvet set (which needs finishing), two toy carries, and my friend picked up a pair of Liverpool curtains, a china ornament clock, and a few soft toys for her dog. We were charged £10 the lot!!!
I bought a few bits in the other shops as well, mostly things for DGD, but I also picked up a table runner, some storage tins, and some costume jewellry that I use in my bags.
We had lunch in a pub/hotel, which was really tasty!, I was impressed with it. Someone walked passed and asked what it was I was eating as it smelt so nice when he had walked passed!.
My friend treated me, which was lovely.
Although my arm really is not happy with the driving, and the searching through the shop rails!. I had to rest it when I got back, and am not too healthy at the moment.
I collected twin1 on the way back, and she is here for the evening.
What I saved on my lunch I just splurged out on at Domino Pizza's for them for their tea. But I did have a voucher for a free coke, and garlic bread. I have never done that before, and doubt it will be that often that I do it again. Although they have enjoyed it, I still thing its an extortionate cost!
I also collected my bag of "rag" jeans from the local charity shop, and have 15 pairs of jeans for my sewing! all for £5. Unbelievable. Now I have a lot of denim for my handbags, and for patchwork etc. :TWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Just a quick line.
Not feeling too well. Cancelled my councilling as I didnt want to do the extra driving.
My Dad took me to get a new printer. HP doing one reduced from £79.99 to £29.00 so that was great. Just installed it and alls working ok. Can bin the other one now.
So I can get back to printing my letters, receipts etc etc.
Sewn the zip in my brothers jeans but it was a bit of a hard task to do, what with my arm, but even with the machine designed to sew denim, I bent a needle and had a right fiasco. Not impressed.
Time to go and get DGD from Nursery.
Oh the expenses money from last August/September has finally arrived. Dispite taking my banking details, in a cheque, but its only made out to my First Name. No surname! Thats not good is it!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
