MOOLOO'S continuing saga Part 4

Well I have managed to get around to uploading some of my items, a few of my bags onto my ebay account, to see if I can start to make some money! Definitely in a situation where I need to sell things and not hang on to them!. Would put up the purses etc but DGD wants to play her game on the laptop now, so I will have to do them at a later date.
The EDF have got back to me, and confirmed they are to send me a refund, and that the meter will also be changed for me in March. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
The ex is paying off part of the debts, which appear to be the overdraft facility (plus charges of course) from the Gold Account, and then the loan is also sitting there in the system.
I do not expect to actually see the money, but if the bank has transfered the debt to my ex then it has not been included in my debts that the OR had. They cannot have a double claim on it, that would not be fair or legal, I would have thought.
Anyway if the PPI is repaid it would just be going off of the debt, so that it is reduced. We are not claiming for any miss sold loans that were in my name before/that were included in the Bankruptcy. I realise that that money would not belong to me anyway.
If the PPI claim was upheld, then half the money would go directly to the OR (for distribution to your creditors and OR charges etc) the other half would either go to your ex or to pay towards that debt.
Having a joint debt means you are both liable until it is paid off, of course you going bankrupt means you are no longer liable, so the whole debt falls to your ex. The shame is that your half of the PPI money will go to the OR, not towards the debt.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Story of my life really!
If there is a hard way to do something it seems to be the way I end up doing them. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I had a quite evening with BF here yesterday, and I spent the morning/most of the early part of the afternoon doing some decluttering and moving DGD's toys up stairs to her room.
I still need to do such a lot, but limited by my aches and pains. Hope to plod on and do some more tomorrow when dGD goes back to Nursery.
I have put some of my heart decorations onto the web to see if they sell, but probably would have been better to do them before Valentines really. Oh well if they sell they sell, if they dont then they can be put away for nearer Christmas etc and Valentines next year. Perhaps I will label a box so I can find them in the loft later on!.
We had a pizza and some Chips for a late lunch today so I am not particularly hungry. DGD is having some scoobydoo pasta and a sausage. I dont know where she puts it all.!
Time to sit and do some handsewing infront of the TV I think. Winding down time. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
DGD has been coughing a bit too much so Molly is picking me up some cough mixture on her way over, and I have kept DGD home. No nursery. Dont want to spread it around to the young families.
Pottering at home today then. Take it as I go. Bite sizes again.
Want to cut out a few small items that I can sit and sew while we are in the sittingroom. Keep my hands busy.
Baby booties seem to be the easiest, but will they sell? mmmm Maybe some more hearts and lavender bags. That reminds me, no lavender bags in my "shop" must rectify that one.
I am not going to worry about money today. No plan to spend, and no plan to go out. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I have had an email confirming that we have one of the Sun £9.50 holidays.
We will be off to North Devon for a 4 night break in May. All I need to do now is save up some spending money. The entertainment on site is free, as is the childrens club so DGD hopefully will love it, and its near the beach so she will be happy enough.
Now I will definitely have to be very careful with my pennies! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Oh brilliant:T:T:T
You were only saying this morning that you had not heard anything and now you know that you have been successful xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Yes, I thought that as I read the email!. Biggest of Mooloo also has her holiday, in June. She is thrilled as she is going to Cornwall for her holiday. Her first day back at work was a success, and she managed to clear and close 8 files in the 4 hours, which her boss said was a great result in the time. So lets hope today goes as well for her. Her BF had taken some time off of work, and spent it with her and the baby, and it looks like things are more settled with her/them. But I have warned her that she mustnt rush into the wedding until she knows that all the problems are sorted out.
I still havent heard from twin2 since Thursday. But her sister has. Otherwise I would be worried. It appears that she didnt go to Birmingham in the end. Didnt have enough money for the bus and train.
DS contacted me yesterday as he hadnt had his Jobseekers and needed to go to the jobcentre. I asked him to go and see if his grandad could help him as they are nearer, and I didnt want to take DGD out with her cough etc.
DG went the bed last night. And had terrible coughing fits. So no Nursery again today. Although she is really missing her friends and wants to go. Molly and her Daughter have offered to have her for a few hours at thier house this afternoon, and so I am monitoring her this morning to see how she is. I would like some respite, as missing my afternoon sleeps makes life very tough for me.
Managed a no spend day yesterday, very rare. But alas today I will need to pay the rent, and I will need to get electric as we have been on the emergency button since Saturday morning.
The washing machine is on. 2nd load of DGD's wedding, she is in the bath playing with her ducks. So we are on a much slower start then I had planned. Oh well.
Time to get on and do the chores while I can. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Just heard that Bronnley factory in Brackley is having a stock clearance sale on Saturday 25th February between 9am and 4pm. May be of use to someone out there. I would love to go, but really I have enough smellies. But then presents for Mothers day? maybe??When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
