    YAY its Friday :D

Slight hiccup on free council tax as payment gone out this month!! Worked out its because not been in the house long enough, transferred money from savings. Next month will be free month so can transfer money back so no mega thing just one month surplus rather than the 2 I had counted on, so could be worse but least some money and not screwed completely

Free listing on ebay this weekend which OH is most happy with ;) as most of the items needing listing are his, I will help but he has to do most of the hard work!

Small items on ebay one has a bid on so this helps.

Not much planned this weekend apart from ebay and we have a wee bit of snow so hoping it doesnt melt so can make a snowman tomorrow :)

Hi BB - just popping in - pity about freebie month but at least you are still cracking away at it.

I too am going to do some ebaying this weekend. I feel like I am a bit demotivated in debt busting at the moment and hopefully some ebay sales will help :D

    Have a good weekend.

    Hello Baldybear

Just popping in to say hello and that I'm loving your diary. Not just because it has horse it the title either!

I have a horse and knew I couldn't let go of him despite the fact I would have been debt free long ago. It might have been helpful if he'd got his own credit card rather than putting all his stuff on mine...

If you don't mind I'd like to pop in now and again to see how you're doing.

Lam thanks for your comments, hope you had a successful weekend :)

Piquant thanks for popping in, glad the tile inspires you, wish Baldrick also had his own credit card too, would have saved me a small fortune too! What I would do to have him back, all the debt in the world would battle for him :D Seeing your total you have done so well :T

    Good and bad weekend.

Bad bits went and spent £20 on few top up groceries and then £20 on a chinese shared with sister.

Good bits £7.50 received in clubcard vouchers so not sure whether to convert or use in store. £10 sainsbugs voucher received from survey site.

Managed to get 2 big items listed on ebay, one with a few watchers on at the moment so hoping they sell as will net few hundred pounds. Listed a few small items too. Out of bits that were on there 4 sold, only 99p each but all helping :)

OH's 0% card arrived today and should be able to complete balance transfer later.

Will be a NSD as at home fighting of the last of flu

Thank you Baldy Bear for making me feel so welcome.

Would you like to have a virtual share in my horse, promise there will be no costs involved! Although he may insist on the odd virtual carrot, he's greedy that way!

Piquant, happy to have a virtual share! No problems re carrots, Baldrick used to love carrots, they were his favourite, when he was really ill and went of his feed completely he still managed carrots!! But he was very fickle, go down to see him in the summer when he was out 24/7, he would see me race over, I would give carrots and then when he realised I didnt have anymore he would sod off, ungrateful git!!! Only loved me for the food

Back at work, but not feeling great but lots to do and bosses will moan too much otherwise, think half of why I feel rubbish is the amount of workload and stress at work, wouldnt be so bad if wasnt on this damm paycut, makes it so much worse, when you are doing treble the work but for rubbish pay

2 ebay parcels ready to send this lunchtime, out of the big items one has 11 watchers on, the other has none and the small items dont have any watchers at the moment but hoping they sell, if not will keep re-listing. Keeping things crossed.

Balance transfer has been confirmed today so £3k to 0% interest for 14 months plus £30 charge so this will really help.

Just need to find more ways to get rid of the rest.

Am ashamed to say both the CC1 and CC2 have gone up but this was a lot down to the car, service and new tyres :( but there are no unforeseen expenses and have savings for rest of budget at the moment so hope only a temporary blip.

Well Baldy Bear, you now have a virtual share in my horse. Meet the Captain! A piebald cob with more attitude than a B star celebrity and obstinate to the point of standing in a ditch in the pouring rain because he didn't want to go past a pot of daffodils:rotfl:

I have recently returned to MSE and restarted my diary. Everybody remembers the Captain and few remember me!

I've subscribed to your diary, the Captain and I will be over on a regular basis.

    hi BB hi Piquant

You can have mine without them being virtual. Mare 2 came in last night with a massive wound (looks like a kick) thought it would need stitches but vet said cant stitch - £255 later  I dont think mine would even get credit for their own credit cards. :D

Its strange for 7 years I have nothing but routine stuff and in the last year its been horrendous. Have decided that mine are not used to being out in big packs hence them getting kicked? :o This one is particularly hard to deal with in that she hates vets and we had to sedate her to have wound examined. Perfect in every other way (except she doesnt travel) but bring a vet near her and she freaks out.

Anyway mare 1 has had to stay in with her to keep her company. Luckily my OH pays for mare 2 so financially it hasnt hit my pocket and my debt is mine to pay off and he paid for her vet bill but we were still :eek::eek:.

Hope work wont be too stressful for you BB - try not let it get to you too much today - get better soon x

Oh Lam that's not good, having to have her sedated too. I do hope she gets better quickly.

Captain, fab name for a horse, sounds like the sort that I would like (without the obstinate bit!). Baldrick was only a wee pony at 13.2 and welsh/arab so quite fine so ideally would like to get something a bit bigger 14.2 ish and thinking Welsh D type so cobby so OH can ride sometimes and something to hang onto to, but not too cobby enough so can have some fun.

Baldrick was the king of obstination! If he didnt want to do anything he wouldnt, few examples include he hated water, would avoid it at all costs, had a lake near us so tried to get him in, he followed a water friendly equine and after 1hr and half of persusaion he got half a hoof in!! The most fun thing was we used to go across a level crossing to get to the woods and he used to walk across fine everyday for years, one day he blankly refused to do it and from then on you would have to get of and lead him over it, nothing scared him just him not being assed to do it anymore, friend riding with me said you could actually see him leaning backwards ever so slightly just to prove his point

LAM hope your horsey recovers soon, fingers and paws crossed for you (hamster paws :))

Moneywise nothing much to report, no more bids on ebay although a few watchers, no money out, eating out of stores, no money in, but notified of quidco money paid, woohoo £8.43, but it all helps.

Car in today for a coolant leak that was noticed, but it should be covered under warranty so hoping nothing to pay here.
