Bleurgh Monday Morning! Everyone is back today, so traffic is carp!
Successful day yesterday, car load to tip, so nice getting rid of stuff, then cleaned out inside of car, first time in 17 years that it may stay clean longer than one day, be weird not having hay, random manky carrotts or soggy packets of polos in there
Managed to bung 8 things on ebay and have 6 watchers, no bids yet but always hopeful
On my own at work today so good chance to have a tidy up and sort day as shouldnt be too many interruptions.
Hope everyone out there in diaryland is wellDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Fairly successful day yesterday, managed to clear few files and pack up a few boxes in the office. Babysitting for my nephew in the evening so no progress made on the house, but OH has done the outstanding washing up so that helps!
Few more watchers and couple of questions to answer on ebay so that looks promising.
Checked bank this morning and have managed an overpayment of £56.04 to CC2, leaves me with £100 spare in joint account, shouldnt need this, so will transfer over at the end of the month if not used. Also small payments to go through, odd few pounds and pence where I have overbudgeted, e.g. budget £170 for council tax but it is £168 so when it goes through can put the couple of pounds. Haven't been doing this at all but going to really get on top of this now as am sure it will really helpDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Morning World!
Not a good day in the office, could have done far more than I achieved, must be better today! One of my colleagues in today so not on my own so always gives me a wee bit more motivation
Didnt do to much in the house yesterday, oops, cleaned out the hamster, cleaned the kitchen and answered a few ebay questions, but popped to mum to see if I could borrow a tape measure and ended up chatting for nearly an hour
Have been reading the decluttering 2012 thread on the OS Board and its something I need to join, as my house is a tip! There is so much stuff I can get rid of, ebay, charity shop and the tip so need to get on top of this
Money wise, £123 expenses came through, most of this from mileage expenses so not paying back what has been paid. This has been sent straight to the card. £5 requested from survey site yesterday so waiting for that to come through. Ebay has few bids on and few more watchers so pleased with that. Must add a few more ebay bits tonight.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

hi baldybear,
so sorry for your loss. (((hugs))). My daughter is also saving for a horse, unfortunately won't be possible until i find some sort of paid work. My dream would be to have a smallholding with a selection of animals -probably not realistic but i can dream. Good luck with your quest.Frump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

Lizzie thanks for dropping by and thanks for the hugs
I would love to a smallholding too, always waiting for that elusive lottery win, doesnt help I dont do it that often. I would love a few horses and some goats too
A fairly productive day at work yesterday, not so productive at home though:o OH managed to clear out a cupboard and put things in there that should be, but the stuff that was in the cupboard is now in the hall  The only good thing is he has found a few more bits to ebay, so MUST (please kick me if I dont) do that tonight. It is always good seeing those little lights turn green, brings me in the extra money I desperately need and gets load of stuff out the house too, no brainer really :rotfl:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

TFI Friday
Managed to get one item on ebay last night, not good, need to do more!! Another Sunday session I see forecast
Moneywise ok, have everything budgeted for I should, I have £100 left in joint account, I was keeping it there for emergencies but I have my general savings just in case, so going to transfer over to the cards, £50 for CC2 and CC1 respectively, is pointless in an account with no interest when cards are 17%!!
Have a post wedding party to go to on Saturday evening, so a quiet weekend, must fix garden fence that blew over in the wind and more tidying and ebaying.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Its Monday again  Back to work, quiet though, just me in the office so a chance to move some files around and make some space and tidy up a wee bit with no hassle from anyone else!
Good and bad weekendHad a takeway saturday evening and a meal out at a pub sunday night, but had a 25% voucher so £11 saved of the bill so could be worse.
All other meals from stores and have stew in slow cooker this morning for dinner tonight
OH went and bought a new saw on saturday (cough £100 cough) and some wood for some shelving
we can sell his old saw on ebay
Went through what seemed like hundreds of boxes, but in fact only did spare room, but have found shed loads of ebay items and threw away 2 bin bags or so of rubbish
 OH still has far to much rubbish and wouldnt throw or put on ebay pile enough, he is still keeping random carp, but will be keeping an eye on this and may sneak a few more things to sell out when he is not lookingListed quite a few items on ebay, and one already has bids on, stuff that was on there previously, the big stuff didnt sell, which is annoying but have re-listed, but sold 3 items with hopefully profit of around £15 so that helps.
£5 from survey site through so now waiting for that to hit bank account
Overpayment made on CC, on excess of budget, £6.96 so not a great sum but again it all helps
£65.68 minimum payment on one card goes out today so another bit bites the dust
Mortgage out today
So all in all not a bad weekend, just need to keep on the ebaying and the small payments from the budgets and will see some progress soon.
Need to update signature but going to wait till 1st of month and then parents loan and sofas will have come off so a good incentive to wait.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

£5 from survey site received this morning and transferred to cards, CC1 is now £2597 and CC2 is £2763 which in a very short month have managed to pay £439 off the total :j
Wont be able to carry on like this every month, but am so pleased have made a fab start.
Other money to come in which is extra is ebaying, which seems to be going well, few more bids on items and of course loads still to go on.
Work is manic at the moment, now have 3 PQQ's on my desk to complete, 1 hand over meeting (in Southampton Grr but get mileage as private car so this helps), 1 Safety award application to go in, all of these just by end of jan and one by mid feb so really should get off here and get going :cool:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Morning! Woke up with steaming toothache
So off to dentist later so will definitely not be a no spend day, was doing so well , got £200 odd left in current account (this includes my overdraft) so hopefully shouldnt need to spend that much but we wait and see! Will take me up to overdraft limit which isnt the plan to get out of debt but hey ho.
Fab news, lots of ebay items selling, include 2 big ones at £25 and £10 and more watchers on these so very pleased :T
Not much else going on in the world of Baldybear, work, eat, sleep and repeat and throw in a bit of ebay and thats about it
Have renewed National Trust membership, joint at £83, have used this a lot in the past but now due to being super poor unlikely to have any holidays this year so am going to utilise this much more and make the most, with lots of freeish days out.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Another day! At work but really dont feel up to it, got steaming toothache, headache and earache combined
Got stupid infection, on antibiotics, really strong ones, they work but they make me feel like carp! £45 at dentist so not as bad as it could have been! So hopefully should finish this month not at my overdraft limit as have nothing else needed to spend on.
Ebay still going strongOH is away all next week so my food and energy bills will go down as just me and his day to day spending will decrease as most costs usually covered by the company. Job doesnt look too bad either at the moment so keeping everything crossed.
