Morning Everyone

Lippycow - what an amazing achievement for you MIL.
JG - the weight loss is excelling, congratulation.

I am on leave for the week so I have had a very lazy day, tomorrow I will start on my long list of things that I need to do, but today, I just needed to veg out for a bit. So not much OS going on today.

me too Molly, felt a bit sad that its all over now Part of me craves the normality but i was so nice having something to look forward to

H announced that he's got all this week off which was a nice surprise. he plans on sorting out the garage. again lets see if he does it and keeps it tidy. I reckon it will be more like a lot of lie ins for him and me trying to chivvy him to get moving :cool:

Not sure whats for tea tonight. i am going through my meal plans and recipe books for a bit of re-inspiration.

Hello everyone. I haven't actually got out of bed yet... Oops! It's my last day off work today! I've just finished watching season 2 of Downton Abbey (I got the box set for Christmas) why do they have to leave these things on a cliffhanger?! Good job I sky+'d the Christmas special!
Today I plan to go into town with my BF to get a few bits and pieces. I'm trying to be very frugal this month and next month because I'm going on a 3 day holiday at the very end of feb (following a band called Rammstein for part of their tour!) and it's going to cost a lot!
I need to get some new glasses too. Luckily my BF bought some in November and got a voucher for 25% off for a friend or family member, so he has given it to me. That's quite MoneySaving I would say!

Today, I am hoping for a NSD, taking pup on a long walk, then watching catch up tv. Will make cottage pie for tomorrow and tonight we're having fish, new pots and beans followed by a pie of some sort.

OH and I discussed getting chickens last night so will look into that later, and I have started to think about the veg i want to grow of the year ahead.

OH is at the yard as someone is renting our tractor today, will see him later on in the day.

Funeral is the 9th, OH has work and we've no one to watch pup so he's going to stay home and I will go up with my sister. I have no idea what to wear, I vaguely remember being told he wanted everyone to wear colour, but still not sure what would be appropriate. Will be travelling up on Friday and home on the Tuesday.

Morning everyone

Love and hugs to those that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x

Drying underfoot but very blustery here this morning, at least the rain has stopped, it rained most of yesterday afternoon and well into the night. DH and DS2 awake but DS1 still in his pit.

Had a very lazy day yesterday, cooked a NY day roast, had a lovely joint of pork loin, so went down very well. Didn't budge fromt he house all day, very lazy, but now am starting to get cabin fever, DH has annouced that his work boots leak so will be trying to purchase him a new pair today then we'll ride to the coast and have a hour with grandad (if he's at home!). Last night managed to get new diary pages into my filofax and get some important dates put in, also did manage to do some booking forms and other information paperwork for our rally in August.

Morning All

Cold here again this morning! I was up and dressed as I wanted to catch the binmen - I had 2 black sacks of rubbish that wouldn't it in the bin and rather than just leave them out I wanted to ask if it was ok....and was told no. So I seen a bin next to ours and lifted the lid and one of them shouted 'that's full!' and it wasn't so I bunged them in there....binman wasn't happy. I was

Lasagne for dinner tonight, I have a small pack of stewing steak (cost 10p:D), onions, a leek, half a red pepper, some mushrooms, a couple of oxo and some smoked paprika in the slow cooker which will do me two meals.

I finished off my vodka last night so that's me back on the wagon - hopefully until I go to my mums at the end of January. Although I have lost weight I have so much to lose that no one else would probably see it so I want to make a big effort so that by the time I go over they can see the difference!

My last day off today so I've made some notes in my A4 book from the flylady list as well as a few of my own to get prepared. Decorations came down yesterday but they are still in the hallway so I'll get DH to move them today.

Have booked shopping delivery for Thursday PM (£2 cheaper than friday pm) and so will hopeully get next weeks meal plan boxed off today too.

julieg - i can remember being thoroughly fed up at the stage. spent most of my time down the DAU because my bp was high and ds would go quiet. in the end i went into labour on the sat eve (10days overdue) and had him early hours tues morning :eek: before that i spent my time on my hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor which was new at the time. i'm sure i saw dirt that wasnt really there :cool:

not feeling great as i have bee nup most the night being sick again hubby has said he isnt feeling good this time so think it must be a big. so not sure what is happened foodwise today. dont think i can face much. waiting for hubby to get out the shower so i can have a bath and get back to bed ofr an hour. exhausted.

ETA bramble - my dad wanted the same. he hated wearing trousers so everyone jeans either dark blue or black with shirt/top. i wore a black dress but had a blue scarf to add colour. a few people wore black and had bright coloured scarves too. just an idea
