  • Hi Haybel ... thanks for dropping by and welcome, it's always nice to have more company on the journey :D

I know the feeling of not having a chance to breathe let alone do anything else, I've been so busy (when not feeling yak) with doing all these little jobs as well as constant job hunting & applications .. sometimes I look at the clock and can't believe where the day's gone :o

The Audit work varies, sometimes it is straight forward quality checks, sometimes Planogram compliance & sometimes Promotional checks. It depends on the Agency & the type of clients they have.

If you haven't already done so, have a look at some of the Mystery Shopping companies, not only for m/s work but some of them ask in their profiling questions whether you have experience in audits. I also picked up a couple by replying to job ads posted on places like Gumtree.

Not sure if any of them do "referrals" as such, but I think a couple of them may be open to introductions (they don't give incentives), I seem to recall the odd email when they've asked if I know of someone who might be suitable for a project.

Yes, with the monthly recurring App payments and the couple of M'Shops & Audits already booked in it's a good start for March. Really want to give the mini challenge a go though, would be great for that to produce some good revenue! A nice job offer wouldnt go a miss either :rotfl:

Which audit and mystery shop companies do you use? Hope you have had a nice day.

Oh my ... think it's more a case of which ones am I not registered with :o

Some are more active than others tbh ... some seem to have almost daily work, others once in a blue moon, the rest fall somewhere in between ;)

I don't mean to sound unhelpful, but there are so many of them - it would take forever to list them all. Try checking out some of the previous Month's Challenge threads, and have a look through this thread below from the up your income board ... It lists loads of them, and I use or have used all of them at one time or another. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4177927

I find with M/shop companies .. some suit you better than others, it's a bit trial and error to get the ones that gel. I do remember a couple that I applied to a couple of years back - they were more "proper" audit based, which sounds like what you may have done ? I originally applied via somewhere like monster or similar, but at the time I didn't complete the applications as they were looking for more experience than I felt I had.

Hope that helped a little ?

Guess I'd best get my stuff together for tomorrow, long day with an early start ... my poor little body & brain wont know what's hit it by tomorrow night :rotfl:

  • Just a quickie post to wrap up February

    A mixed bag really;

A little disappointed with my final earnings tally of £405.80 / £750 - but I guess it's not too shabby, seeing as I didn't really get into the swing until half way through the month :o Hmmmm, I like that view point better .... if I'd done the same the other half of it, I'd be over target ;)

Not much luck on the job front ... lots of applications sent out, but very few nibbles at the bait !

The course has paused slightly, purely because of the little snips of work I've been doing have been taking up my time a little bit. Still eager to get on with it though!

Meal plans have gone well, but starting to get a bit low on funds and supplies, so will need to work harder at this in March and make things streeeeeeetch much further.

    Onwards, that's a wrap folks !

  • Thanks Beanie, pretty pleased with it overall.

Helloooooooo March, a new month, a new challenge.

Had a good start with Audit & M/S work, though it's gone a bit quiet for me next week atm , hopefully can keep it up.

Working on several Job App's from this weeks papers, want to get them done & out today ... tomorrow at the latest. Also have a couple of "on spec" applications from things I spotted in the paper.

I really must try to get a few bits on ebay, get my toes wet so to speak. Won't be much, as I've been reading about this 10 item limit for new sellers, so will need to sort a range of bits and see what might give me a reasonable return. I might try ebid out too, even if it is quieter.

Determined to make some inroads into the boxes and clutter still lying around the house too, still got a couple of boxes of shredding to get done and down to tip - will see if I can at least get that finished off. Think I'll post a list of Task Goals as well as Earnings, keep track of what I've set myself.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend

Hi angel, sounds like you've been very busy, have you heard anymore from the application forms ? It's such a frustrating time just now trying to find a job, have been looking myself for the longest time but have found very few that are suitable ( or that I'm willing to do tbh)

How's hubby feeling now? Hope he's doing good xxx

    :hello: GA

Phew. I got tired just reading your plan for March. Sounds very positive. You are keeping yourself busy and making railroads into things.as.we.

Try zapper, cex, musicagpie for dvds/cds. I think mm is still on one of the cb sites too.

Try.zapper for books too, although the ones I looked at didn't offer much. there is always amazon or.amazon trade in too.
