El - Not getting much back from the job app's, seems the new way of doing things these days ... companies not bothering to even acknowledge applications or even giving feedback from interviews .. pretty depressing really But yes, I'm trying to keep busy - just keep on going, law of averages says sooner or later something will appear even if it's not my preference !

Mr GA is doing okay, though I'm a bit concerned that the GP thinks he may have had another bleed. We're scheduled to go to the local hospital mid march for scans, so we shall see. The Diabetes seems to be under control atm, but again concerned that he's been putting on weight again. Very difficult controlling this area as he's limited with the ability to exercise.

Aesop - Yers, I'm on a mission :rotfl: Just getting so frustrated with the state of the house and garden, and while I know I need to be doing job app's and earning what I can - where I can, I also want to make some inroads into sorting the house - it's driving me nuts!

Thanks for the tips for selling options, I've already got my eye on CEX, as they seem to offer the most for the phones I've got.

Awww, hope DS is enjoying his bus rides - sometimes it's the simple things that give most enjoyment isn't it ?

I've got three more hours of riding buses. Lol

DS has already complained that one of the buhe ses he chose terminated at a large shopping centre. Despite me telling him that this is what it would do.

He can read but has no concept of destinations.and how long.thinga take to reach.

Have you lookes at martins mobile checker? Link on first post of make ten pound a day. I sent some old phones that I could not even get to charge up to asda and they paid for them as being working and straight into my acxount. also highest payers.

Sounds like you have been very busy. Good luck with the applications and ebay. Whats merchandising? How do you earn from it?

Hi Haybel, with the Merchandising: You get paid by companies to replenish displays & order stock etc. Some card & book manufacturers use them as well as some shops directly employ them. You can often find jobs advertised on places like gumtree or jobsites - you do have to get passed the waffle of partyplan stuff though :rotfl:

I found I got more from cash converters than with cex and mm

Double check the prices though mm was offering me £1.34 for a DVD I checked eBay and they were going for more than that ... Just sold it there for £19 plus £1.50 p&p so glad I did

A little light change of £5 today from a scratchie win, but not much else to report.

Oh, apart from me being a total dunce .. and forgetting to save some documents & spreadsheets as I was ambling along with them .... including CV & cover letters .... que a brief but annoying powercut ... and poooof ... all lost Moral of the story .. when I redo it all tomorrow ... I won't forget to save regularly :cool:

We haven't had a theme week for a while ... must be due one by now. Ooooooooh, Easter is early this year ... end of March :j Now do we wait until then for a party ... or do we need a mini one to get in practice ? Decisions, Decisions. I think these onesies everyone are wearing look awful and with ugg boots. So eill come in my trusted pjs and dressing gown. It's fleece don't you know so we won't need the heating on high.

Sorry to hear about your docs. I have autosave on my word and excel bt t doesn't always work. So have to remind myself to hit.that save.button evwry so often.

Someone put a usb stick into my computer at work and the whole thingswitched off. I wasn't happy I can tell you.

Ugh, it's horrible when other people fiddle with your stuff and then it goes poooof. I used to have that, everytime I came back in, I'd have to reset everything.

Having slept on it ... and dreaming of chocolate .. I thought we'd go for a Chocoholics theme in honor of Easter , and we'll start this weekend ... lots of indulgence

Extra Easter eggs would be most welcome, I was thinking of chocolate coated fruits & nuts, dipped strawberries, chocolate fondue & fountain, peppermint creams, Tiramasu, chocolate Roulade .... just a few ideas

There'll be different varieties of Hot Chocolate ... Did you know you can get a Tiramasu flavoured one ? :eek: For those who want to join, but prefer to abstain from the choccy stuff ... they'll be other nibbles & dips to choose from, and a selection of Teas, Coffee's and other drinks.

I've got to buy new rechargable batteries for the SLR, current ones have gone to pot along with the charger - need to find the spare charger that's somewhere in one of the boxes dotted around ... the Compact's memory card thing is dead, so a new one of those as well ... typical really, just when I need stuff Jessops has gone

Quite funny, when I was checking the SLR ... the little princess furball came and did some very pretty poses in front of me ... think she wants to audition for a photo shoot, she does this one pose where she looks like a meerkat, she does have a very pretty face .. trouble is she knows it :rotfl:. Hmmmm , Maybe I should just send her out to do Modelling work, so I can live in luxury :rotfl:

Back to "work" mode, get these doc's redone & sent.
