  • The Chocolate Pamperfeast Buffet in honour of Easter - is now open, so bagsy your chairs and dive in to all the lovely bits ... something for everyone! :D

Thanks for all your good wishes for my Interview, it's really appreciated ... I'm getting a bit nervous now :o

I've also got three M/shops to complete tomorrow, and hoping that the forecasted snow I spotted on the weather earlier ... for once ... stays away.

My printer has decided that it didn't like the compulsary firmware update ... and crashed with a seemingly terminal error of printhead failure  Luckily the brand new ink cartridge I'd just bought ... hadn't yet been opened & put in ... so that went back for a refund today.

Luckily, I found my old printer (under the bed!!) that I'm able to use when on the Laptop ... so that has now been set up so I can print my paperwork for the shops & the info for my interview.

A very very very kind person babysat me through my first ebay listing attempt .... You know who you are and THANK YOU SO MUCH !!! :A

I've had a good day moneywise ... £30 refund for the ink cartridge, £10.50 for the MrT's DTD issue and I've had another S/Card win of £20 - giving me a nice little earner today of £60 :j:j

Better go update my signature & earnings post, and I suppose I should try to do at least a couple more ebay listings  :A

  • Hello Angelettes, sorry for the short absence, feeling a bit under the weather - think I may have caught a chill from wandering around in the cold on Monday. I've been sniffling & snuffling like a pig after truffles and my body feels like a herd of buffalo has run over it. I slept most of yesterday, snuggled up with a four legged hot water bottle. :o

£30 added to tally for the M/shops done on Monday, but nothing from yesterday and nothing likely for today. Shall check out the M/s places later to see if I can pick any up for end of the week. :)

The interview seemed to go well, though I didnt really have an opportunity to shine as it were. It's a job I can do and similar to the one I just left. I got the usual, other people to see & will be in touch line. I'll just have to wait & see. After the last couple of interviews where I seemed to do well - then didn't even hear back from them - I've lost my confidence in analyzing how I've done :(

A strange thing, I was thinking about all the job offers I've had in the past and for every one of them - I was offered the job at the end of the interview ! I can't think of a single one that was offered after the event. Not sure that's a good omen for me currently. I've not heard back so far from any of the others I applied to last week, but guess it may be early days for some of them.

Hope everyone's having a good week so far.

    Angel xx

  • With my get up & go having got up & gone, my good intentions got left feeling somewhat abandoned with only lethargy for company - I've slept a lot again today :o

As predicted, nothing added to the earnings tally today, but in one of my short bursts of activity - I did manage to snag & bag a couple of M/shops for the end of the week. Though tomorrow is currently looking like another Nil Point day

A glimmer of a silver lining showed itself by sending me another invitation to go for an interview, another local company which is good, so that is now booked in for Friday :D

Tomorrow is job day for local paper number one & Friday is job day for local paper number two - I shall get them regardless I think, keep the momentum up.

    That's all for now

Hi angel, I've been having the same luck with the interviews just now, it becomes so disheartening, I just keep telling myself the right will come along at the right time ( although I reckon the right time has been and gone a few times now as well :( )

Fingers crossed something turns up soon xx

Now did I eat mention of chocolate ?

Hi El, yes it does get a bit deflating from time to time. Think we're both caught in same trap for differing reasons ... your job is quite specialised isn't it ? Whereas I have to run the gauntlet with everyone else who can even remotely do office work

All I can really do, is keep trudging (or plodding as Beanie says) - surely the law of averages says that sooner or later I'll get offered something, just won't necessarily be my ideal. Though I am now getting to the stage where I'm likely to accept the first thing offered (within reason).

And yes El, you did indeed hear mention of chocolate ... please make yourself comfortable and help yourself from the buffet - there's plenty to go round and the Chocofest will continue until Easter Monday :D

Right then, back to "work" ... have a good day everyone
