  • oooooooh, thanks for that Aesop :D

Bah, wrote a long post and lost it when I hit submit :(

So here's the short (very) edition : No earnings today (or should that be yesterday ?), but applied for a couple of m/shops - wait to see if they're allocated to me.

Sent off a couple of CV's today, but didn't get them all done - must finish them tomorrow.

I'll try again with a longer post in the morning, my eyes are telling me its time for dreamland.

tea and raw veggies with dip for me please!

Veggie nibbles & dips duly added to shopping list for Friday :p

It's been a bumbling kind of day today, I feel like a foraging badger.

Personally, I blame the Furballs ... too much time spent in their snoozing company is obviously rubbing off on me - or else it's the five bin liner sized bags of shredding I've managed to produce from just a quarter of a box of paperwork :o It would appeal as quite comforting - If I were a mouse that is :rotfl: Wouldn't mind, but I've got more boxes that size plus quite a few box files yet to do

I didn't get the assignments applied for yesterday but did pick up four others instead, so mustn't grumble. As for earnings, only managed a small £3 scratchie win profit ... they really seem to like me :)

Pinged off some of the planned CV's - still a couple left to do, plus the on-spec ones and three other new jobs I found today online. Shall get them all finished tomorrow, and it's job day in one of the local papers so will check that out too.

Having had the delights of the garden looking like the Miami Everglade swamps for what seems like the past 100 years, I had planned to get out there and start some tree hacking & clearing. However, it seems that Mother Nature has other plans as the weather report this evening prophesied more of the wet stuff ... and tonight has duly obliged

Oh well, at least I've got the Rugby at the weekend to comfort me instead :rotfl:

So, having waffled you all to sleep ... it's nearly time for me to do likewise :cheesy:

  • Finally got all the delayed CV's out along with a few from yesterdays local paper & online Job hunting and have been a good kitten and already sent off more CV's from today's local paper foraging, so that little lot is out the way. I'll do another online sweep later this afternoon. :D

Two more bagfuls of shredding now clutter up the conservatory ... so much for me meant to be reducing the amount of things attempting to take over the place ... seems like it was less whilst in the darn box :o It also feels a bit like I'm one of those poor workers who finally manage to finish painting the bridge and have to go straight back to starting it again ... never ending job.

Managed to re-activate myself with a couple of M/S companies that I worked for ages ago but stopped doing assignments for. I have an audit assignment to toddle off to shortly, really need to get myself semi suited 'n' booted for it. Also have three m/shops booked in for Monday, and a postal audit starts next week too. No rest for the wicked.

I've been eagerly anticipating this Monday for a while, as both a book and a DVD I've been waiting for to be released .. will come out then.... so during my rounds I shall be zooming in via Waterstone's & HMV so I can use up the Xmas Voucher balances :j:j :p

Better stop yapping and get my touche into gear & get this audit done & dusted. I shall be grabbing the final supplies for the start of the "Chocolate Pamper" period too :D

  • OMG, one of the Job App's I sent yesterday has emailed me this morning for interview next week on Monday

Really pleased and this one is close to home as well, so even better and gives me more leeway with salary options. :D

Shame MrT's isn't doing that thing anymore, where if you are overcharged they pay you double ... I'd have been ££££ up as they seriously over charged me due to a promo not scanning properly

Though TBH - I'm not really sure how it works on that type of promo. It was a buy xxx for £10 promo, but they scanned through separately .. which charged me over double ... would I get double the Promo value or double the overcharge on total of individual items .. I'm easily confused :o

No earnings to report today, but the Audit from yesterday bagged me an £8 fee to add this months tally :)

Will be doing some research on the Company for the interview over the weekend before Monday, and guess I'd better think about what to wear too :o

Hope everyone is having a good weekend !

Phone head office and tell them you have been overcharged. Most likely they will tell you to go back in store.

You are entitled to double the difference. If you were charged £20 and yhe item should have been £10, they owe you double the difference, £20.

    Item free and free £10.

How much did they charge you!

Ooooooooooh Thanks for that Aesop, didn't realise that they were still doing it!

The Promo should have cost £10 for all the items, but they charged me the actual cost of each item which was £20.10
They refunded me the £10.10 on the spot, but nothing more.:(

Thanks also for the interview wishes ... we're keep all fingers & paws crossed here ..... along with anything else that can be crossed :rotfl:

So you are entitled to another £10.10. They do not tell customers as they do not like paying it out.
