Thursday night at stupid O'clock, I had a bizarre idea to check in with one of the audit companies I do occasional work for - and managed to pick up six jobs to be done yesterday. That's £60 "banked" for that work and I've managed to secure another six audits for beginning of next week :beer:

I'm very chuffed and excited .... my course stuff arrived today Can't wait to get started, been reading the intro stuff that came with it & completing the student profile questionnaire they want. :j:j

Managed to pick up the job paper today and there's four jobs in there that are suitable for me, so have been preparing my applications for those. Not heard yet from interview on Thursday, but it's early days yet.

Need to go through some of my survey companies and check if any of them are at payout level .. shall do that tomorrow. I usually opt for vouchers as they tend to be better value for the points etc, but as most don't do supermarket vouchers which would actually help with the groceries - I'll opt for the paypal option where available. Better in my account and going towards my February "paypacket" at the end of the month

I'm also going to go through all the M/S companies I'm registered with & see if there's any more work I can pick up from them to add to the Audit work.

Didn't make it to the Farmshop as I planned, so need to try & go tomorrow or absolute latest Monday ... My meal plans depend on it :rotfl:

Been busy the last couple of days with the Audit work, as well as a small M/Shop I picked up - though they weren't all plain sailing :cool:

But it's earned me £70 towards my goal, and I've got a few other bits to add from apps & things ... need to request payments and add those odds n ends up later to add to the tally.

Have been reading my first course Module, really looking forward to getting going with it.

Disappointed I've not heard anything yet from last weeks interview, but still working on other applications to keep me busy. I bought a copy of another job paper that I came across today ... and kind of wished I hadn't bothered as having spent £2.50 on it, there wasnt anything suitable in it for me

Picked up two of my old Merchandise jobs today, will be a bit strange doing them again for the first time in over a year ... hope I'm not too rusty! Luckily I managed to find & dig out the special tools I need to do them, and I've put them safe in my case ready for next week - must also remember to get some more batteries for the camera.

Picked up another Audit for tomorrow, two hour special but good pay and I snagged a couple more M/Shops along the way One also for tomorrow and one that I'll tag on to the Audit jobs next week.

Was contacted by another of my Audit companies to see if I would be interested in a new project they're due to put out and said yes to that, have to see what happens there.

Received my first product test for 2013, looking forward to doing that & getting payment at the end of the 4 week trial.

With all the Audits in the last couple of days, didnt get a chance to finish sending the job applications out, so need to try to get them done by no later than tomorrow afternoon.

Not very exciting I know, but it's all very slowly starting to trickle in - I just need to clinch a job offer :cool:

.... still without success so far on a new job. Been through my applications file and "closed" any applications over two weeks old, except the one that has a closing date of 1st March, but including the interview one. So much for we'll be in touch shortly.

I've got a couple of stragglers to finish applying for, and the new papers are out today/tomorrow. I'll also check the JC site later, but it seems to have been "hacked" recently by agencies.

Moving on .... I've got a few more m/s & audit jobs booked in next week and waiting to hear whether I'll be selected for a new project one of them emailed about. Must see if there's any others I can pick up.

Course is going well, I've done the first module and sent off the prelim questionnaire they wanted. When I've done the next module, it will be time do complete my first assignment.

Money-wise, yesterday added about £40 to the kitty - still well under my target. I've a few dribs n drabs still to be added up & added, which I'll do over the weekend.

It is all kicking off here and today I got so fed up I offered to leave. I wad tild no they don't want me to go but at the end of the day it is the director'd decision.

I keep telling myself there is something much better out there for me. .......

Busy ? ... yes ... financially rewarding ? ... bah, that's another story :rotfl:

Coursework I could maybe manage ... but job app's .. don't really think you'd want me to considering my success (or lack of ) thus far

Sorry work is causing hassle, it's really hard when you don't even like going in anymore. So hope that it calms down for you hun Hang in there, and yes .... I definitely still believe there's something better out there - for all of us! :A

With all the antics of work stuff recently, I forgot to mention I took Mr GA to see the Doctor's beginning of last week on the advice of the Diabetic Clinic. He's been suffering from dizziness, swollen feet & cold hands and feet. After doing some basic tests, the Doc said he was referring us to the local Hospital for some more scans to be done on Mr GA - Doc thinks he might have had another small bleed . We got the Hospital letter this morning, and he's due to go in mid March

It feels like we've come almost full circle ... it was a similar situation that meant I had to opt for part-time work the last time I was made Redundant. I'm worried that once again his medical problems are going to have an impact on my work options and keep me stuck in a rut, not to mention keeping us mired in the debt muck.

It probably sounds petulant & selfish, but I was so hoping that this time round I'd be able to go for something that would move us forward and give me more satisfaction. Does that make me a bad person ? Or just a stupid one for thinking I can better myself and our life ?

I find myself asking the same question Aesop said earlier ... there must be a better life for us than this surely ?

I don't think it is selfish to want a career or a better choice of jobs for yourself.

Even mums want that for themselves, to be recognised as individuals not just mum...mummy, etc.

Good luck with the job hunting, hope it goes well.

What are you going to look for this weekend to buy and sell for a profit?

Thanks for the kind words Aesop, didn't manage to get out & about for rummaging - been feeling a bit yuk again the past few days ... You sound a little down & fed up Hun, hope it's nothing too serious :A

And so, it's only going to be a quickie update tonight.

Done a few more bits, and have £28 to add to this months earnings tally. I've got a couple more bookings before end of the month, which I'll add when done.

Upside is ... I've already got assignments booked in and some cashback due to start me off with March's target
