Hi all - lazy day to-day.
[STRIKE]
SS kitchen and bathroom
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]HHC 'in land of lost dresses' ie wardrobe[/STRIKE] - complete tip - but how do you eat an elephant? a bit at a time.
6 items of clothing and 6 books to cs - intend to try for this Mon-Sat til it's sorted.
I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate this thread - it has literally changed my whole outlook - re myself, house and life in general. I'm only a week into this flying but it's exactly what I need - I love it. Might do another HHC later.Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0 -

Today i am planning to put on the breadmaker, make a vegetable and ham soup and do a spiced apple cake which is so easy i just have to share it with you xx
Aunt Sallys Apple Cake
This is ridiculously easy to make!
8oz self raising flour
4oz marg or butter
4oz castor sugar
8oz roughly chopped apples
4oz saltanas
juice of half a lemon (soak the apples in this once chopped)
2 med-large eggs
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger- Mix flour and marg til it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add all other ingredients
- Let sit for 5 mins
- Grease tin
- Place in tin (push up bottom type if available but not vital)
- Cook at 180 degrees Gas mark 4 for 1 - 1 1/4 hrs or till a knife pulls out cleanly
Hope you all have a good day and i will be back later so if anyone wants to join me in ACOHC (a couple of hours cooking) then lets go xxx
Just gonna go and bake this as it sounds yummy. Thanks Quillion :j10lb to lose & keep off in 20204.5lb/10lb:rotfl:0 -
ha 719 days since I was on the wii fit and what have I gained in that time - 1lb pretty good going I think. I bet the smug voice on there was shocked! I did 13 minutes of exercises and surprisingly quite enjoyed it. I will do it more often.
Floors all mopped. Kids kicked out of the LR for arguing and making a mess, gee it had only been done for less than an hour.
Going to delete some emails next and then do dinner. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Well I've done B all today
Took DD2 to her drumming club at 12 and DD1 & I went into town (brought a scrubbing brush and some shampoo) then to my friends house.
I wanted some advice on benefits / social loansand a general put the world to rights
I'm feeling really down today, everything is a real effort. Then I went on FB, read something and my vivid imagination kicked in, now I feel worse
I think I'm just going to cook dinner, do the DW and WM and go to bed I'm really . . . . fed up :(0 -
I have 1,000's of books and even have bookshelves above doorways and in the most unlikely places! [STRIKE]I very rarely declutter books- [/STRIKE] I have never decluttered books til to-day - should I go and buy them back? Oh dear! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
will you ever want to read them again? If so then yes.
I worked in a 2nd hand bookshop in my drop out years. I have a few thousand books. In most rooms. I do not re-home them, but equally I don't buy a book unless I will want to read it regularly. Greenbee likes to mess with my head by kindly sending me things I want to read once in an attempt at training me to let go. It doesn't work 'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
