Ohhh I see, guess it could be down to that maybe. I'm sure I read strawberry is a fairly common intolerance. If it was me I'd call the docs and see if I could speak to a doc on the phone and see if they think its worth going in, or failing that call nhs direct just to be sure. Is he happy enough in himself? Tummy doesn't feel hard?

Thanks katie :) I did Google a bit too (hard on my phone, still no internet at home!) And does sound like banana is a bit of a dodge one.

I just rang nhs direct and they werent very helpful, the lady following the script says he sounds fine but see your GP if you are worried, but the actual nurse said it sounds normal for a nappy after solids. Hmmmm.

I'd say nappies get weird with weaning. Weetabix gives the worse, bleurgh, his nappies actually look like weetabix texture! I wouldn't worry x

Well i did ring the doc just to be on the safe side, he said sounds normal obviously just keep an eye on it and come in if I'm not happy.

BUT he did then tell me to make sure I mashed the food up well to avoid choking...oh dear ;) lol

Made the saltdough handprint santa christmas tree decorations with A this afternoon, they're baking in the oven atm and then I'm going to paint them, hoping they turn out well as I'd like to give one to my Dad and one to my In-laws, fingers crossed :j

how did the salt dough turn out gilly?
I tried it but they all puffed up....I think the oven might have been too hot but it was set on the lowest setting!

Haha oh dear! Did you tell him?!

    Good that its normal though!

Just got back from the weigh clinic, he's 18lb5 now. Hv said that immunisation reminder must be a mistake. So much for a trip out wearing him out though, he's trying to chew my elbow while digging his pointy little fingers into my ribs. And giggling while he does it. Monster!

Ahh good tip on the salt dough. I followed one that said bake at gas mark 6 for 20 mins, it was crap and all fell apart, so I did another for a little longer which all puffed up and burned. Might just try again, low and long, will remember that!

Gilly what are you using to seal it?

Katie, no i didnt think it was the time to start discussing blw with the doc! I just went mmhmm vaguely ;)

Might go steam some carrots for him to mush up. I've not done much so far, but he seems to prefer to feed himself with a spoon - if he has things in his hands he just looks at it, but put a loaded spoon in front of him and he grabs it super quick! Funny to watch :)
