Poor Jonathan, jabs are horrible aren't they? Hope his legs have stopped bleeding now?

We had an ok night, still up 3 times but I got a lie in til 7.30 so could have been worse. He's wriggling around on a towel on the floor at the moment - really need to get his playmat made,I've got the fabric just need to get it cut and sewn! Should probably finish his jumper first though or he'll have out grown it before its even finished!

    Morning

Sexymouse - :(poor Jonathan. Have a nice day with your mum.

Noah woke up screaming in the night so not sure if he had a nightmare? I went to get him and he was fine, he went straight back to sleep.
I had a scary dream and so did DP so it must be catching!!

  • Poor Noah :( hope he's better now?

The tip of G's second tooth is just through! Think that must be why he was so out of sorts yesterday afternoon/evening.

He's completely hyped up at the moment, won't sit still! I just had to call the docs surgery to check what time my appointment is next week and he spent the whole time trying to climb up me, the receptionist must have thought I was a total weirdo with all the grunting he was doing! Hopefully nap time before too long as I've got a pie to make and there's no point even trying while he's in this mood.

That's why I'm guessing its a tooth with Noah too. Without trying to sound like a "my kids are perfect" mum, Noah is soooo good and content it really isn't like him to just "cry" if you know what I mean.
He is bouncing away in his jumperoo at the moment so I have managed to sort the washing out and just about to Hoover.

    What pie are you making?

  • Steak and kidney pie, I'm not a fan of kidney but OH loves it so I've bunged some in. Smells though, hope it doesn't make the whole thing taste of it.

Aw it's ok to be one of those mums on here! At some of the baby groups I've been to its either a competitn to have the best baby, or the absolute worst! Never right some people ;)

Right better get the kitchen sorted out while the pie cooks.

    Katie yay for another tooth!

Ok, need some help from you experienced weaners....just had his first poop after starting solids ,it is full of red threads, like little worms. Someone please tell me this is normal before i march to the GP's with a dirty nappy in tow! He's eaten banana, cheese, two plum yoghurts and tiny bit of weetabix (and i mean really tiny, less than a 5p). The thing he ate the most of was probably the banana.

Hmm turtle, I'm not sure about red threads - when George first had banana his was full of black threads, which is apparently quite common after banana. Could be the plum maybe? When George had blood in his nappy it was very definitely blood, but maybe worth either calling your surgery or nhs direct to be sure? Unless anyone else on here is more experienced than me! (Wouldn't be difficult ;))

Sorry I meant plum the brand not plum flavour, strawberry and raspberry so both were pale pink.

He had some blood in his poo a week ago, and that was very much identifiable as blood (went to clinic about it). This, despite being red, doesnt look like blood. I would say looks more like he ate about 20 individual 1cm Lengths of red cotton???? It's very odd. The poo itself is a nice healthy bright yellow.
