Spent a lovely afternoon with fluffnutter, Freddie and his winkle
today and looking forward to meeting again in a couple of weeks.
I'm sitting at the pump again as not expressed since lunchtime, so the dairy is in full swing now.
Got tongue tie clinic tomorrow afternoon so not sure if I'll make it to breastfeeding group at 1.30pm - suppose it depends on how long the clinic takes and if they find anything or if Jonathan has to have a tongue tie cut.
I've resisted taking the antibiotics for the moment to see if I can get through the mastitis naturally. Haven't been brave enough to try to latch Jonathan on as if they want to see his latch tomorrow afternoon, I don't want my nipples to be so sore that I can't show them. My nipples have been recovering as they aren't as sore on the pump as they were this morning,.
Jedi I'm very impressed by your 14 weeks of breastfeeding - did you ever find out if you had thrush? Did your pain go away?
Good luck with your drive tomorrow katiechoc. xx
Picked up some lovely Next sleepsuits that I won on ebay today in size 3-6 months so looking forward to trying Jonathan in them.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

Um winkle as in winkle or the toy called winkle?! G has a toy winkle, got a funny look in the cafe at the weekend when I told him to "play with your winkle" :rotfl:
Just had a shockingly good tea time - almost finished a bowl of spud, leek and pea mush. First try aswell, normally he howls at new things. Turns out all you need is a bit of Labyrinth playing and mummy doing some terrible gangsta/street dance moves. Good job the curtains were shut.Newborn thread member

This is the toy box I like: http://www.vertbaudet.co.uk/storage-chest-white.htm?ProductId=705033262&FiltreCouleur=0019&t=1. It's surprisingly difficult to find a plain white wooden one with a lid (if anyone's seen a cheaper one, please let me know!). We have these wall stickers: www.linenstore.co.uk/In-the-Night-Garden-Bedding-and-Accessories/Room-Mates-MYLRMK1861SCS-Scroll-Tree-Branch-Wall-Stickers - the tree branch with the owl on it is going on the wall above her bed, so I thought I could put a few flowers or the squirrel/hedgehog on a toy box. We're just about to start doing the nursery - she's currently in the guest bedroom, so there's nowhere for guests to sleep, so she'll be moving to the smaller room that's currently the study. Excited - if only we could get rid of some more clutter!...
would this Ikea one do? http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20078031/You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I've read they recommend you latch baby on as soon as they have had their tie cut so hopefully he will latch and you will notice some big improvementsYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Nutella ... Try promo code 8134 on vertbaudet
It's still allowing 25% off... Brings toy box to £36 ish
Not sure how long it'll last tho as the code was meant to be for 1week from bonfire night0 -

I'm a bit jealous of you all with your meet ups and baby groups. We have no social life whatsoever, bit worried Jakey will be a loner if I don't take him to any groups or anything
Took him to get weighed and he is 10lb 11oz at 4 weeks old so I'm pleased as that means he's gained 1lb12oz in a fortnight. We didn't get to find out his length though as clinic was running over. I know he was over the 99.6th centile for length a couple of weeks ago though xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Yes it's the toy winkle - fluffnutter was telling me that she's been saying to Freddie to have a chew on his winkle and realised that it sounds rather dodgy! lol This is one for anyone who is interested - it's a teething toy. It's actually spelt winkel.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
