Glad it wasn't too bad sunshine. Good that he crawled off a bit. Hopefully tomorrow will be good too.
Haha I have the same hair problem (although luckily for him oh hasn't told any tales to his mates ). Apparently when you're pregnant your hair doesn't fall out like normal so once you've had the baby there's a load of hair that should have already fallen out, so there's loads!
Hope you can stick it out Jedi, G won't take a bottle so OH was a bit limited on what he could to help. And I am a serious grump when I don't get enough sleep!Newborn thread member

Saw a really nice lady dr and got more antibiotics for the mastitis. She said that I can give it 12-24 hours if I like to see if it clears up on its own with compresses etc as last time the AB's affected J's nappies. She also said I should try nipple shields to help get through the pain of feeding if I can cope with breastfeeding him. At the moment I'm expressing again though.
Also got a call from the hospital to give me an appointment to see the tongue tie specialist on Wednesday at 1pm, so will finally find out for sure if he is tongue or lip tied. He's certainly clicking loads at the moment both on me and on the bottle, so if he hasn't got one, hopefully they'll be able to advise me on what I can do, as the clicking on me is when he usually loses his latch and it's very painful!
Off to baby sensory in a minute, so looking forward to that - wonder if anyone made a cake this week. Last time I made one and so did another lady, so we had pumpkin cake (was Halloween) and her chocolate fudge cake too.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

It's really easy Sammie especially if you buy the pumpkin puree in the tin from Waitrose rather than making your own pumpkin puree. It's this recipe here - the lengthy part is the cooking (1 hour) but it's one of the moistest (is that a word?) cakes I've made - must be the buttermilk - and it went down really well - I made a second one for breastfeeding group too in the same week! As I didn't have quite enough pumpkin for a second one, I adapted the recipe and put the rest of the buttermilk in and enough sultanas to make up the difference in weight of the pumpkin and that turned out well too.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Oh wow I didn't think the cake would like that, I thought it would be bright orange! It looks super yummy. I wish I went to one of your baby groups so I can have some cake!!

Sorry to hear about the sleep regression fluff, hope he snaps out of it quickly and yuck re the sick:o
Sexymouse sorry to hear you have mastitis again, it seems quite common, most breastfeeding ladies I have spoke to have had it. Meant to say cant believe how big your boy is, that's Nialls weight and he is twice js age! Do u feel j gets much out of sensory play? I am debating taking Niall but thought he might be too young to appreciate
Re cakes....I would love to have the time to bake but Niall is a nightmare with his sleeps, he does. 45 min sleep in the bouncer in the morning when I rush around doing the must do stuff then the rest f his sleeps are in the sling so not safe to cook.
Waiting for my sis to contact me when her youngest has had his afternoon sleep and then I am meeting her for a tea and chat.
Drab day here today, washing on line getting wet:o
