Katyliz - I'll be really interested to see what your Dr has to say. Lara is the same age and also on cow and gate and has been really playing up the last week, keeps being sick, lots of grunts and groans and won't settle at all after a feed whereas she used to fall straight to sleep. I keep switching between the powder and liquid and wondering if I need to change from tommee tippee bottles.

He really is, I never had a bump either so I often wonder where the blooming hell he was hiding. We were told by the hospital he would be about 6-7lb x

Katy Liz R.e the reflux, I'd go to the GP explain the symptoms and see what they say. Our reflux was severe but silent, so nothing came up, he screamed 24/7, it turned out that A had reflux as a result of an intolerance so the minute he was on milk suitable for his gut, he was 100 times better. I know Sunshine has had a positive experience with gaviscon and it may work for you. When we went to the Childrens hospital to see the paediatrician, he seemed concerned that most GP's had little to no knowledge of reflux, and were giving out gaviscon to everyone and anyone, despite not investigating fully, what the issue with the baby/child may be.

It makes sense to me too, as gaviscon doesn't even touch my heartburn, I need the good stuff :o

If you can, keep a diary of when it's particularly bad, how often she is feeding etc. Sadly with refluxers, early weaning (17 weeks) is recommended and little and often feeds, we were recommended 3-4oz every 2 hours when he got hungrier. Definitely go and see someone though as it may be as simple as sticking some gaviscon in the bottle :) Hope it gets better for you.

Hello all, been a bit awol, super busy at the moment :) Hope everyone is keeping alright and babies are behaving xx

Quiet here! Aiden woke at 1 last night :( I am convinced he was cold as I was chilly. Snuggled him in with us and he was fine, may get another sleeping bag or put him in the fleecy sleepsuit tonight.

Hope everyone is ok. Off to town to meet my dad later.

Morning sunshine. It was cold with us last night too, G's hands were freezing when I fed him at 4. The rest of him was toasty in his sleeping bag though.

Have a nice time with your dad, I've got to get cleaned through today - mil is coming down for the weekend at short notice and the kitchen looks like a bombs hit it.

George has developed a new noise. Sounds like someone's killing a cat in here.

    Morning guys,

Jakey was a bit restless last night, he kept waking for feeds then only wanting to feed for a few minutes. OH got in a grump cos he didn't like the blanket I had Jakey swaddled in, so ended up digging one of the sleeping bags out and Jakey seemed to like it, I did let him come in bed with us for an hour though before popping him back in his moses basket, and he's still sleeping now.

It's payday for us so going to pay some bills and then think we are off to Meadowhall, I've never been before :s

    Morning all

Sunshine - have a nice time with your dad. I was chilly this morning too, we bought Noah a little oil filled radiator for his bedroom as I don't like having the heating on too high overnight, it keeps his room lovely and warm.

Katiechoc - as sunshine said, it sounds like George has found his voice! Ear plugs usually work!!

Ikkle - Noah has slept in a sleeping bag from day dot and he won't sleep properly without one now!! Have fun shopping.

I need to sort out my gas and electric tariffs today but DP has gone off with the meter box key so I can't check the meter readings so will have to sort it later I guess. Noah is being a proper thug this morning and smashing his toys on the floor!
