Afternoon ladies... Whoever posted the offer on the jumperoo has got me in trouble with OH!
I've ordered one for Xmas but hes not happy as she doesn't like the swing and isn't keen on her bouncer we bought for her and he thinks she'll be same with jumperoo ... Convince me I'm wrong and majority of babies like the jumperoo lol!!

Bellola .. Hugs for feeling down ... It's hard in the first few weeks and I know everyone says it but it will get easier... We are at 9wk now and she's a different baby .. Have you tried Colief for the colic... We had no luck with infacol

Jumperoos are fab! I've had many a hot meal (yes really! First time hot, not repeated!) While he bounce bounce bounces away in it.

Gosh all this talk of hair cuts, the beer photo really shows how much hair the cradle cap has stolen :( the dentinox shampoo seems to be makes the scales look scarier, the edges of them are lifting, but I still think he's soon going to lose all his lovely hair :(

"The beer photo" ...that makes me sound really bad!! I don't give my baby booze, honest guv ;)

I'm feeling so low today, have just sat and cried for about 30 mins whilst feeding LO. I had such a traumatic labour, stayed in hospital a week and now I think LO has colic. She is constantly screaming so have got some infacol to try but last night we both only got about 2 hours sleep. And to top it off I'm getting pretty bad headaches almost every other day. So feeling very teary and can't wait for DH to come home so I can have a break. Sorry to bring the thread down but I just needed to get it out. I'm really scared about PND, I feel like I have the potential to get it but how do you prevent it?

Belolla I've heard baby massage is good for colic...do you have a local surestart? Ours did a massage course to show you how to do it. My LO didn;t ahve colic though so can't swear by it by some of the mums at the playgroup I go to found it useful

Not managed a sleep and neither has Poppy! Think we are both having an early night tonight.

Bellola - if you are feeling bad get yourself to your GP, that is what they are for. I was diagnosed with PND and started on anti-depressants back in May. They have helped me so much and I feel like a different person. I knew I was getting depressed, I didn't have any interest in going out and just wanted to sleep. I was also very teary and lost interest in food. GP's are use to dealing with ladies feeling like this and will help find some way to help. I am breastfeeding (sorry not sure if you are?) and he was able to prescribe a pill that was safe to take. Don't suffer in silence and try and get some rest when baby naps. Don't be afraid to post how your feeling on here, I think between us all we have experienced pretty much everything and come through the other side. Take care.xx

My baby hated his bouncer and swing and loved the jumperoo. he could crawl.by 6months though and by then he didnt want to be in it anymore. was a brilliant buy though just short lived but i do know most other peoples last longer.

R.e the infacol, i was told it can make things wprse and.for.us it was defo true, he had no burpy wind as it forced it all down, so he was attempting to trump all the time but couldnt. He was in agony with it. colief and dentinox.seem to be a lot better xx

Thought I'd share a picture of Poppy that took early having her second go on the swings! She seemed to enjoy it a little more than yesterday!

    Adorable Jannine!

Bellola - there's not much I can add to what envy one else has said already, but do speak to your gp or health visitor, they're there to help and have seen many new mums in the same situation. I was diagnosed with pnd when G was 7 weeks old and have been taking anti depressants since thenand I've been doing much better. It really does get easier.

I'm starting to make lists of what to get for crimbo so am after recommendations of what we could get the monster (want to start watching eBay now so I don't spend a fortune!). He'll be almost 8months at Christmas so I guess the jumperoo will be getting towards the end of its use. Was thinking something along the lines of this http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_38_10751_-1_15055_15666_10001_14055 but I really have no idea. Plus the grandparents are already asking what he wants
