    Hello all :D

Jannine - ur not allowed to go anywhere !! ;) i am pretending Scott is still a newborn lol! I plan on staying ooh about 18 years....

    Hope everyone ok

Mil left Sunday in the end as we had her an extra night, she was fine apart from telling me I looked fat in my trousers and I'd be better off wearing dresses ... other than that she was an angel and given her age (79 now) I have to take no notice of her comments

My mum has knitted the cutest dog toy for Scott, it's supposed to look like Dylan (sort of) :)

She was swinging on nipple when feeding and arching back and screaming and kicking legs up... Went on for hours.. We'd manage to settle her to sleep and as soon as we put her in basket she would wake a minute later bringing her legs up and screaming.

Jen, it sounds like your lol has bad wind or maybe reflux with arching and bringing her legs up. I hope you have a better night tonight!

    We now have 5 teeth!

Mozzy, you are the queen of MSE smilies! :)
  • Evening ladies! Aw turtle hope you've been able to get something to eat by now!

Love the pram janine, jealous! Although I was thinking today how much I love my new one, only thing that's a bit annoying is having to take the seat off to fold it up. But I can live with it :D

My cakes didn't workout as planned - was going to ice them and stuff properly but I just couldn't get it right so ended up going with the old classic of melted chocolate and smarties instead. But my hands and half the kitchen are dyed red with food colouring

We're going off to see family tomorrow for a week so probably won't be on much. Hope everyone has lovely weeks :)

You don't need to leave!! We are all gonna stay till they are at least 16!! I think the next thread will be called something else :)

Did you decide on a pram? X

Or I can bump the mse parents club thread which died a death when the previous regulars decamped to FB?

  • I forgot to post the weight loss list - its not Monday any more so didn't want to post it, but I'm on an extra -2 this week, about time it started going down again :j

It's so hard to know how much milk to leave with the childminder - I left 13oz for 10.5hrs yesterday and she asked for more for today. I managed to get 17 oz total, after a miserable evening attached to the pump when I could have been sleeping...I just hope that's enough.

Anybody had problems with their medela getting milk in the tube? Happened to me just after a let down yesterday so I had to stop the pump, gutted. I just detached the tubing completely, blew in it to get as much milk out as poss, then out it on the pump with no bottle attached and pumped it for a few mins to try dry it out. It seemed ok and I could use it after that, but it happened again later in the day - is my tubing dead and need replacing or does anyone know if it's something else?
