Thanks Gilly, but don't be so hard on yourself, you're doing brilliantly :) I have a lot to lose too - I know I initially said 10kg, but ideally I'd like to lose 20. 10kg will only get me back to my pre-pregnancy weight, whereas 20kg will get me to a healthy weight that I'll be comfortable with. My new target is to get to that by the end of January so I can go on a clothes shopping spree before I go back to work in Feb!

That's about the same as 20kg, isn't it?... We'll get there :) According to my BMI, as of this week I'm 'only' overweight rather than obese!
  • I'd like to keep the list...just didn't post as was on hol last week so couldn't weigh myself.....and this Monday is the first Monday back from hol I'm not sure I dare do it!!!! Will be good this week and rejoin next week though, promise :)

I think it is around the same. I'm teetering between over-weight and obese  but hopefully in the next few weeks I'll bring it down. But BMI is bull crap imo, because at my lightest I was about a size 8/10 and still heavier than my BMI deems healthy. I must have big bones, no pun intended :(

Edit: I am pretty tall too, so at an 8/10 I'd say I was too thin.

  • Rebekah i don't have any advice per se but sending a hug your way - se x after a baby is a bit of a minefield I think, regardless of what you were like beforehand. Communication is key I think....certainly lack of communication over here is not helping :o
  • Evening ladies, I have a poop question for you - baby poop, not mine :rotfl:

George has done two really green ones today, not just a hint of green, really and truly green. Any ideas? He's fine in himself and is feeding like normal, wet nappies like normal...possible allergy/intolerance to something I've eaten? (completely bf at the moment). I've been rackingmy brain but I'm sure I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary recently. I was planning to get him weighed tomorrow anyway so will ask the hv but wondered if anyone here had any ideas I hadn't thought of?

Monkey has finished his feed so we're off back to bed, will check in again in hopefully a good 8 hours time...yeah right, I'll probably be back on in about 2 hours if this little monster has anything to do with it.

Green poo is generally too much fore milk not enough hind milk I believe? Has he been having short feeds on one side? If I don't think a feed was long enough, I put back on the same side next time. Obviously check with the HV, but don't worry too much :)

Thanks Aimless. He tends to get distracted a lot during feeds now so I guess it could be that, hopefully anyway, will try and make sure to out him back on the same side and see if that makes any difference.
