We had Jumperoo from 12 weeks, Jess spent a min at a time in it from about 14 weeks then, Now at 7 months she will happily spend 30 mins in it without moaning. We have a beautiful but small house and the jumperoo is wedged between sofa and armchair, it is very bulky, but worth the space it takes up.

on the jumperoo topic i bought a second hand one with box for £50 Ellie loved it and it really helped with her development and made her very strong. I sold my last week to someone local for £45 ;-)

my little one is only 9 weeks but he is a big boy lol, he was 13lb2 at last weigh in 2 weeks ago and is in the 92% for length too so with a folded blanket under he can touch to 'rock' he doesnt know how to bounce it yet, he keeps pulling his legs up to his chest really quickly instead lol he only lasts a few minutes though as he isnt really interestedin toys yet. oh yeah - you can also take the 3 poles out and leave the base and the poles seperate quite easily

I packed my jumperoo away when A was about 6 and a half months as he wasn't happy to be in it any more. Could you keep the swing in the living room and have both? xx

We just got our jumperoo last weekend and T bag is 5 months. She's a sturdy little missy though. She weighs 19lbs already.

She absolutely loves it. Well worth the money.

I had a sling when she was small, it was a close carrier from mothercare (I think they might be called caboo carriers now). It was useful for getting her to sleep but its redundant now really, I wouldn't feel confident carrying her in it now because of her weight. Having said that, I'm sure it says on the box it can be used for much longer.

If I was to get another one, it would be a mei tai or a boba.

    Evening all!

Triangle, I'm desperate to get a jumperoo for Teddy! Been bidding on a couple on Ebay but have been out bid at the last minute both times, annoying! I'm rubbish at Ebay anyway! And it has to be local to be collected because of the size of it so not too many on there in my neck of the woods, loads up north I noticed though!

Glad to see everyone and their babies are doing well!

fluffnutter, how are you and Freddie getting on? He's gorgeous, love his hair! Teddy has old mans hair, loads of dark hair round the back and sides, nothing on top!

How is everyone getting on with their weightloss/exercise routine?
Teddy is nearly 10 weeks old now and have decided to start classes again when he's 3 months.......nothing major just Zumba probably to start! Just want my body to be a bit 'normal' before I start up again.
And I need to stop eating biscuits! Even hubby who is an exercise freak and has always had a six pack in the 13 years we've been together is getting a bit softer round the middle! We do love a cuppa and a bourbon though.......:) xx
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference :)

    Hi,
There are still some clearance nappies on the Totsbots website if anyone is interested. I am getting addicted, and as I'm having trouble putting any ounces on midget I *had* to get more Teenyfits...

I can recommend Hypnobirthing classes. I didn't do any others. Good for first timers but also for anyone who has had a traumatic experience in the past, I think.

Wish me luck for the weigh in tomorrow...

I got an FP swing seat and loads of other gear, too, courtesy of a loft clearance and de-babying of a friend.
