I hope it passes for you. Many people identify the 4 month sleep regression as the need for weaning but it doesn't actually solve the sleep issue as baby rice/fruit and veg purees don't have enough nutrients in for baby, and usually milk intake will drop with food intake, and at 15 or 16 weeks all the nutrients and vitamins they need will come from milk, and very little from food. Milk will fill tummies at that age a lot better than food ever could.

I'm not sure whether we had the 4 month regression or not, as he didn't sleep through until 6 months anyway :D

The pedi told me they would say having full bottles (say 7 or 8oz) or so and were feeding more frequently than every 2 hours, that's what they would consider a hungry baby. Up until 6 months it is quite normal for baby to feed every 3 hours, even through the night. Some people are just very lucky :( I wasn't one of them! xx

    Evening all :)

Turns out I needn't have worried about the smoke, as soon as we walked in you could tell they'd really aired the place out, all the ash trays were empty etc so was quite happy really. And George was completely adored by everyone :D

Shattered now though, been a long day with lots of driving so ready for bed. Hope George sleeps well but he's so tired he keeps flailing around and knocking his dummy out and waking himself up. Silly baby!

I'd love to do Disneyland in Florida but I can't see us ever being able to afford it, short of winning the lottery. Paris one day maybe. I reckon around age 8, so they still get the magic of Mickey mouse, then maybe another trip a bit older so they could go on the big rides. Definitely would have to be Paris if I want to go twice, no way we'd be getting to florida twice!

sorry to jump in on the thread but wondered if anyone can give an opinion ??

im looking at buying our baby monitor and have it narrowed down to 2, either the Angelcare with the sensor mat or the Tommee tippee

I have had an angelcare in the past and it was glitchy, however that was 9 years ago so guess its been improved since then ! I've never seen the Tommee tippee but it has good reviews,

needs to be from amazon as I have vouchers to spend BUT i only have £60 which is perhaps making me lean towards the tommee one :money:

if anyone has used either good/bad points welcome,

    many thanks :D

We have the angelcare with sensor mat and only have positive things to say about it. The alarm is very loud which is reassuring and it also shows the babies room temperature on the parent monitor which I have found helpful when we have had very hot and stuffy nights as I check the temp before deciding what pj's / sleeping bag to put on so he doesnt overheat.
I don't know much about the tommee tippee monitor though so I wouldn't like to say which one is "best" but I can honestly say I have not had any problems with my monitor.

I'm glad the visit went well. I'll keep my fingers crossed for George sleeping well tonight!!

Was planning on watching a film tonight but OH decided to have a couple of drinks and is now asleep on the sofa!! A couple of drinks seemed to turn into about 10 drinks!! So whilst he has been asleep I have been spending his hard earned money online!! That will teach him.

Hope everyone gets good sleeps! Aiden went from 2:30 this afternoon to 8:00 with no naps which is unheard of for him! He usualky naps every 2-3 hrs. Even went for a big walk to my mums but it just made him more awake :) Anyway he is asleep now and I am hoping we have a good night.

Sunshine - Noah rarely sleeps in the day too. I don't know how I will cope when he is mobile and I'm running around after him all day!! I might get my dog cage out of the shed just in case I get desperate!!

I have the Angelcare, no problems with it so far. I got the basic sensor only one, and then picked up a cheap sound monitor that matches it from Ebay. I saw on that Amazon link someone complaining about false alarms with the TT one. Not had any with my Angelcare one, it went in the crib, and goes in the travel cot and the proper cot. He's just started getting more wriggly, but it still seems to pick him up even when he's rolled to one side.
