Really guffy baby today :(. Keeps going tomato-red and firing out proper man farts. He's asleep at the moment on my lap but if I try to put him in his cot he instantly shrieks. And then farts again, obv.

Freddie sneezed whilst on the boob the other day. Splattered my chin, his own face and my left boob with milk.

It's raining now so the builders have gone away. There is a row of roof tiles off as well as the fascia boards, they haven't covered up at all. Not sure that's good for the house...

Elliot left a giant bogey on my boob the other day.

Ha the on-the-boob sneeze is always amusing! Gross about the bogey though bluebell!!

I once sneezed while Reuben was feeding, made the poor lad jump, he did that starfish thing they do and I instinctively pulled him close...bopping him right in the eye with my nipple. He had a milky eye for the next few blinks, poor lad! :rotfl:

    Hey ladies, hope all ok!

Toniq - I don't own any white clothes at all, I never spill usually but if I'm in white I can guarantee I'll spill something down the front of me! I wear an apron feeding Poppy now she has mastered the art of raspberry blowing!

Went shopping to Asda today and had a 'funny' moment at the sugar isle! Picked up a bag of sugar and I couldn't believe that Poppy weighed less than this when she was born, made me a bit sad, then I looked at her smiling in the trolley and felt better!

Turtle try not to worry about this weight issue, I took Poppy last week and she had gained 1 poxy oz in 3 weeks  The HV was flapping big time and told me I would have to go to the hospital, we are under the Dietician so I called him and he told me not to worry, babies go through spurts at different times. My HV is a right stresshead!

Decorating nearly finished, carpet comes on Friday, can't wait to get my house back to normal! x

Can only echo the HV and weight thing. I too had a frustrating and unhelpful conversation recently. Went to get Freddie weighed and ask a few questions about his feeding routine - just wanted a bit of reassurance really about time between feeds, length on the boob, growth spurts etc.

She sucked her teeth a bit and pulled a face and told me 'best come back in a week and get him weighed again' even though I'd previously been advised that once a month is fine for a full-term babe who's doing well. I asked whether his weight gain was OK. She ummed and aahed a bit and said it was. Then she said 'well, stick with it for the moment'. What does that mean? 'For the moment'? Should I be doing something different? I asked her to clarify but she couldn't elaborate further. I left feeling quite confused and unsure as to whether he's doing OK or not. Wish I'd never gone, quite frankly.

My Jessies weight is such a worry to me, I've booked a dr's appt to discuss it, I had gestational diabetes in pregnancy, I was on an extremely high insulin and metformin regime which still didn't control it, because of risk of still birth, can happen to babies of mums with gest diabetes, and because of the risk of baby suddenly becoming large and getting stuck I had to have a C section, Baby was also breech!

Jess was delivered at 37 and half weeks and was 5lb15 at birth, her sugar took a day to stabilise.

So my worry is Jess is over 99th for weight and height, I worry did it affect heror did any of the Ivf drugs affect her?, and how come she is so big, I'm really not into the *don't worry* comments, it is not normal for her to be this large.
My Hv said she looks healthy so not to worry.........I haven't been abck since Jess was 4months as I'll snap at her.

    sorry to vent x

How much does she weigh now Toniq?

Def go to the Docs if you are concerned, that's what they are there for. He may refer you to a dietician, or tell you that there is nothing to worry about.

Poppy's weight is a massive worry for me also, I was talking to my friend who had a little girl in May, she now weighs more than Poppy who was born in November! We are still in 0-3 sizes in most clothes and the next size up drowns her.

I'm lucky that I get to see a dietician and a Consultant Paed every month so can tell them my worries, they are both great and say as long as she is healthy not to worry.

I hope you get your mind put at ease.
